Just finished watching Tsubasa chronicles Shunraiki, and i must say, if you put the repetitiveness/fillers aside from the first 2 tv series, this series overall has been really fucking good. I hope there is more releases for this anime.

Gurren Lagann
For all the hype about this, it sure didn’t deliver. The only good part is when that annoying guy that keeps screaming every 2 seconds with the stupid looking glasses dies. The movie was only a smidge more bearable (because it was shorter).
Berserker
This is just garbage. The protagonist is a boring wannabe brute. His entire background story and concept is lame. The anime is almost bearable because the annoying little fruity fairy is omitted, but it should of been cut to 13 episodes. After the anime ends the manga goes down hill with so much unneccessary trash that they can’t even keep the plot together, nor make it remotely interesting.
Naruto
This is just a pathetic concept of a anime/manga. Ninjas?.. Really? Ninja brats? The protagonist is just lame and is outshined by his comrades. Sasuke should be the main protagonist and Naruto thrown in with the rest of the Hidden Leaf/Sand clowns for comic relief. Even then it would be still be barely watchable. It would be more boring, but less annoying.
Bleach
Disturbingly sad. This should be banned. They should pay people to watch this shit. No type of plot, no direction. Just another middle school afternnon anime. It would be watchable if Aizen got 10 times more screen time which says a lot because even though his evil-bastard-ness is somewhat there, he’s still one dimensional and boring.
Samurai Champloo
It seems they intended this to be as lame as possible. And apparently its only selling point is supposed to be the soundtrack. Sad.
One Piece
Great show for 6-10 year olds. If its target audience is supposed to be over that than it fails to deliver… in every sense of the phrase. It’s essentially mindless. I’d go ahead and recommend Dora and Spongebob to the kids over this. I kinda feel sorry for Japanese kids.
Dragon Ball Original/Z/GT
The manga ran too long. The anime is just a long-winded POS. There’s very little actually content. The new Kai version maybe promising, but it still seems to drag on in parts. Either way, the Japanese screams make my ears bleed, and the art makes my eyes wonder.
Ghost in The Shell
After all the hype, you would think it would be the greatest shit ever made. But it becomes clear real quick that this is trying so hard to be self-important with conspiracy theories and philosophy, it ends up being boring. The protagonist is boring. They try to save it by using the gimmick of making the protagonist a female and this is the only reason these movies and series are popular. If the protagnist was a guy, it wouldn’t even get any notice.
Gintama
Very much not funny. Mostly just annoying and sometimes very disturbing. I’m surprised they allow the young ones in Japan to watch this type of junk.

As for the anime, not really much to talk about… Most of it is unmemorable… Metal suit with a loin cloth… Rriiight. Not even going to bother with the manga on this one - unless they changed the entire concept for the show - which I doubt…

I see, it’s opposite day. And no one told me. That’s the only reason I can find for someone not liking Berserk, and someone older than 15 actually liking that emo brat Sasuke. 
How’s the plot of Naruto these days btw? I dropped it when the fillers started around ep 80. I tried getting back into it with Shippuden, but that only lasted for a few eps.
As far as I’m concerned, Naruto was at it’s peak in the Zabuza arc. The end of Zabuza is so fucking sad and at the same time so fucking awesome. :rock:

You dislike Dragonball Z/GT art? Akira Toriyama is a GREAT artist, and you’re just probably not used to the pre-computer art.
The new FMA follows the manga, and from what I hear, it’s completely different. I haven’t watched it yet.
I somewhat agree with you on GitS, but there are people who LOVE that series, and some of the music is good.
Also, Kamina dying was a sad moment in that series. It wasn’t the greatest, but I enjoyed it.

- So Maria is not what she seems after all; a victim of a virus experiment and the first to have the anti-virus implemented in her - plus the typical case of amnesia. Was very nice of Mino to take care of her and help her out achieve her photography needs.
- Seems like Alphard and Liang Qi know each other; with the latter calling her “sister” (though it’s not known if it’s a blood relation or not). Alphard seems fine ignoring her, but Liang sure isn’t happy about it. She seems like the psycho type as well.
- WTF at the restaurant girl who put those meatbuns in her chest to make it look like it’s big.
- Crazy gun-totting gramps was awesome. :lol: I have never expected he’d turn out to be like that. Was surprised that he was the brother of the kid as well.
- Even more awesome: Jouji Nakata as a very GAR taxi driver. With Date-like Engrish and attitude, he made the ep twice as great.
- WTF one more time at the strange woman with the nekomimi outfit at the end of the episode. :lol:

GA #1 was pretty cute. Just random quick happenings featuring the 5 main characters, some random art knowledge and a very hilarious Power Rangers-esque scene. Definitely gonna keep following this one.
New FMA pretty much follows the Manga, but they have left some stuff out to progress quickly to the parts that are new. It’s going to be really good now that they’ve glossed over the early parts.
I’m one of those that really really liked GITS. Except for GITS2: Innocence. The TV series was superb (and not done by Oshii, which is probably why)
Also: kinda the wrong thread, but it’s animated, and it’s cool. And it’s a heads-up for those that only pay attention to a few threads rather than prowl GD.
