Yeah, the symbiote being suppressed inside of Flash is kind of bullshit.
Nope, all about the SUPERIOR Venom now. Hyped? I am not. And it’s the worse Venom in terms of visuals.
Flash is Venom is nice for a change and initially in the early run of the series, he had conflict with the Symbiote but it died out over time. Mac Gargan Venom was hit and miss. The great part about him was that the Symbiote would take control of him and just eat people just cause but he was still a push over though so.
They have been hinting that it’s just pretending to be surpressed out of fear of them making ones that could work and also ebcause it’s getting closer to Flash. I hope they ahve it end up bonding with Flash instead of going back to ARARAKAKSAKSISOIFOIASF BRAINS like it was for awhile before Gargan got it and during the time he had it.
Flash has been a really great Venom because initially, he hated it. But we’ve seen more and more as the story progressed that it’s turned into a sort of bittersweet relationship between him and the suit. He’s actually developed as a character throughout all this time and has begun to start needing the suit. Not even physically, but almost as if it’s a psychological necessity. It adds a huge dynamic that the story has handled excellently, especially considering all the real-world shit Flash has had to deal with alongside his growing dependence on the suit. I also love how it’s always been right under Peter’s nose.
One of the most interesting parts of the comic as well is the dialogue Flash makes with himself. They even got that aspect right in one of the more recent issues of Superior Spidey that he made an appearance in.
Yeah, it’s been this way for a long while now, lol. Well worth the read though, I’d definitely recommend taking the time to catch up because it really is a fantastic dark story. Dat Blackheart arc is just too sick.
Last I read in Superior Spider-Man, Flash now needs the symbiote to live.

Superior Spider Man is done, being replaced by Amazing Spider Man again (starting from #1).
Too short.
I honestly would have been fine if they continued this continuity for the rest or most of 2014. But I can’t say I’m complaining about Peter’s return either.
When does Amazing start? I just read Superior and I know it reintroduced Peter in his mind, but did I miss an issue where he fully took over?
A Re-Launch of ASM was announced a few weeks ago.
Starts in April.

Yeah, they either should have left his mask on or just not have made his face so derpy.

still not feeling jamie foxx at all. i dont know if its the lines they wrote for him, or how completely ugly he is as electro, but so far every time he speaks im like, “ugggh, stfu”. looks like the darker scenes are gonna be nice. that end where he catches emma and goes through the steel and glass, im like wtf, physics no goodz. not to mention her hands would have shattered to bits while she hugs spiderman. the clear lack in thought on that scene alone leads me to expect less from this movie.
i mean, cmon guys, its spiderman, is it really that hard to get it right. im gonna be fucking 50 years old before i can get some good spiderman movies or animes. sheesh. watching nemo play spiderman in umvc3 is more entertaining then all the movies. lol. imma still see this, but ugh.
If you actually look a little closer you see Spidey’s back hitting the glass, not Gwen.
It’s not that big of a deal either way, one could argue that he just hit the glass with a different part of his back that Gwen’s hands weren’t touching, which first shattered the glass before the rest of him could fall through. If you want to split hairs, I guess.
Or maybe she actually did get her hands fucked up. We don’t know.
I’m pretty sure that of all the things to complain about in any comic movies…physics should really be the last shit. They’re MADE to be broken by ordinary humans.
