That car catch scene is too nasty, and is one of the reasons I like the new spidey movies. They actually capture the essence of how he moves.
I didn’t want to watch the first one because as a general rule - I ‘hate’ origin movies, like Spiderman one was HORRIBLE to me. If you are going to a Spiderman movie, you already know he wsa biteen by a radioactive spider. Change it to genetically altered due to changes in science if you will, I could careless about it.
However, I wanted to the first one of this reboot - why? The fight scene on the bridge I think it was. He moved like Spiderman should move and he actually FOUGHT. I actually went to see spiderman fight. For this one, I’m simply hoping for more of the same.

also they really captured it when he fought lizard man at the high school. the amazing spiderman was the first time we finally got to really see spidey moving like we know he should. i have my criticisms of, the amazing spiderman, but it definitely did do some things really right fo sho.
So…has no one brought up how many more movies just got confirmed for ASM?

IIRC, YEARS ago Sony’s contract to Spider-Man was released and one of the clauses stated if Sony doesn’t make a Spider-Man movie in X number of years the rights will go back to Marvel, which will then be given to Disney.
It’s been a long time so the details are fuzzy.
I’m aware of that…that’s not what I’m talking about.
I second this. They get the full depth of Spidey’s complex AND stylish movements in these movies. It’s one of the biggest things about him that makes him an awesome super hero and I’m glad they got it right in this.
Yeah, they’ve already confirmed another two movies not including this one as well as stating MJ and Felicia (Black Cat) will also be involved. The stupid thing is, MJ was actually supposed to be in this move. They literally had all of her scenes filmed already. But for some reason (I can’t exactly remember why) they decided to out her. They’re probably waiting for the movie which will include Gwen’s inevitable death to put MJ in.
What confuses me really, is that why they didn’t just use Emma Watson to play Mary Jane instead of Gwen. She’s SO much better as a redhead. Or maybe that’s just me and my thing for redheads…

That trailer is much better. Still don’t know why they’re trying to make Spider-Man super dark. Actually, why every superhero movie has to be super dark.
As for the new movies, I hope the Venom movie actually has a good Venom. Someone who actually looks like the character (although seeing how everyone else in these movies looks nothing like the original characters this probably won’t happen), keeps their face on, and has the personality of Venom. That Venom Journalism short thing was good, I wouldn’t mind it taking that approach.
Sinister Six movie sounds good, but I hope they don’t keep the original Sinister Six lineup and instead choose some characters who should be onscreen instead of choosing the OG lineup. Electro and Rhino are in this so they might be in the Sinister Six, Vulture and Doc Ock were teased in this (although I really hope we don’t see both Green Goblin and Doc Ock again, other villains need to be in the spotlight) so they’ll probably be in it too, and I would like to see Kraven, Scorpion, and/or Mysterio on screen so some of them would be nice too.
Looks better than the first one, which was crap, but meh, James Franko has turned mega emo and some nigga stole a suit from MGR. Probably wait for a decent version to torrent for the sake of chechking out emma stone like last time tbh 
If another Venom movie is ever made, it needs to be Flash Thompson Venom.
And it’d be a fantastic chance for there to finally be more mature rated Marvel movies.
Wait, what? Flash is Venom? Wow, I missed a lot of recent stuff. I just recently started reading 616 Spider-Man comics again with the last few arcs of Amazing and read Superior. Before that, I’ve mostly read Ultimate Spidey since it launched. I did read a couple where Mac Gargan was Venom but none where Flash was Venom. That’s pretty cool, gotta read those ones.
Flash Venom is poo poo imo. Mac Gargan was my favorite because that guy hated having the symbiote inside of him.
THat mini wiht MAc when he was in the Avengers was fucking great. I’m feeling Flash though as Venom, just wish he would start to develop some sort of relationship witht eh symbiote. People forget it’s not a dumb animal. Also still mad they turned Toxin into another VEnom basically, at least have it make Eddie go visit Pat’s family.
