I’m very sure about that but in case I’m wrong it was probably back when I was playing Chun still and I used to fall asleep between pushing Frc and Back+Frc out of boredom so I just slept through the whole match anyway.

Aiight, I’ma whup his old ass and stick him back in the retirement home! LOL
 I know how that feels.
I’ve tried playing Chun-li before and it’s INSANELY boring, easy but boring.
While my main character is Q I’ve been looking into other characters just for fun. I dabble in Remy, Ken, and Elena. I do alright with them, but I can’t hold my own with them as well as I can with Q.
BTW with Oro I assume you use Tengu-Stone?
I hear you. That’s why I don’t play with her alot nowadays…
…why don’t you play with Ibuki? It kinda sucks being the only person around here that uses her(Not counting Gandido of course)…
I do use Tengu with oro but I use all of his SA’s for different styles of play. I love the fact that he can “lvl3” all of his supers for enhanced effects especially the super-sayjin-booger-ball. The SSJBB comes out surprisingly fast AND he has long combos involvng it. The Grab super is especially fun against unsuspecting foes with ticks into 3-button grabs and the ever awe-inspiring launch, juggle, launch, juggle, launch, super activate jumping grab dash up tick into grab:lol:
I played Chun for almost 2 yrs but that was before I got seriously into 3S as I am now. It gets boring quickly but I do have a good Chun when I concentrate on what I’m doing which is something I got very careless about untill I decided to switch-up and go back to Yun and now Urien.
I used to play Ibuki in 2nd Impact and she quite frankly is useless in 3S after using her sooo much in 2I. Too bad they toned her down so much but then again she was really too powerful I guess. I hate that they took away her Hashin-Sho SA. It had been my fav since SF3:NG.
Ted
Yea you was using chun li back then. So you was sleep walking.  I want to see ya’ll fight now. He got a new born on the way right now so he can’t come up to SC next weekend. The baby should be here any day now.
Yes I use the Tengu stone, but that depends on what type of players i’m playing against. The most useful soopa is the booger super. It gives you plenty of EX moves and that’s what you need when playing oro IMO.
There is a snowball’s chance in hell that I might be able to make it to FR6, in which case there WILL be at least 1 Genei Yun player. Yun owns all of 3S for free…anyone care to prove me wrong? Sami already felt the wrath.
I don’t know if it’s so much Yun owning the game as it is the Genei-Jin.
Yun without Genei-Jin = So-so. Sure he can EX Kick his way out of certain situations but outside of that he about average.
Yun with Genei-Jin = Freaking Scary!
BTW shinblanka,
in the N-cubed results thread you asked about Mester. Mester’s from Japan and is well known for his Yun. He was part of the team Japan that picked apart America at Evo2k and I think B5 as well (Not 100% sure on that one , it’s been a while).
Matt:
I played Chun against you, and Yun counters her for free, beats all her moves! But Ken Masters is ready for you so watch it man!
peace
Yeah, they did screw with her in 3S (Especially the Youroi Doshi), but she is still quite fun to play with and she can get the job done (With alot of practice of course). Besides you gotta love her Air Hyper Kasumi Sukazus!
…It’s just too bad I don’t have any guniea pigs to practice with. My Ibuki could be alot better than what she current is, and I don’t have alot of examples to draw from…
woohoo

Ibuki without Hashin Shou just aint the same…that super was badass. Like a old school Houyoku Sen:mad: .
Sami: As far as I’m concerned, Chun has the advantage against everyone except Hugo and Makoto(I’ve heard Necro does well, too, just haven’t seen it happen.). Oh yeah, and I don’t fear Ken any more than Chun, so bring it on, little man!
woohoo

3rd Strike:cool:
.I was Sentinel67 but now I am AGM
IMHO Chun-li doesn’t have the advantage against the following characters:
And possible Urien (I’m still not too sure about this one.).
As for Hugo vs. Chun-li…Well, I honestly think Chun-li has the advantage, but that’s just me.
I know man. I used to love that damn super in NG…
BTW…any Twelve players in the house??? I was experimenting with him last night and I found out that he is pretty fun to play with, but I need help using him. This is what I learned so far:
-He has good range on his attacks but you can’t pressure with him since they’re slow for the most part. Furthermore, he doesn’t have a good B&B combo to use outside of supers.
-S.MK is not only super cancelable but SJCable, and you can buffer a dash from that (I’m guessing that’s how the Twelve-neto style works…)
-You can combo a X.F.L.A.T from a S.MK but the timing is REALLY small for that link.
What the hell am I’m supposed to do with the stringy hands move? And some more knowledge on his normals and supers would help too…
Chunli does have the advantage over Ken. I find that more than anything its hard for Ken to get in on Chunny. Not that Ken doesnt stand a chance, just that while I was in NY Flash pointed out this one match where this Ken SA3 player was fighting a Chunli. The Ken player was pretty good. Better than most Kens I have seen.
The Chunli player wasnt anything special and was considered a worse 3S player then the Ken guy. So what happened, much to my surprise RAPE I mean total RAPE. All The chunli player had to do was keep him away and no what to parry and what not to parry.
It was explained to me that if Ken cant get close to Chunners that it is almost impossible for him to win the match. Unless the Chunli really fukz up. And even then its not like thats it for Chunli.
do i hear some 3s challenges goin down?
anyone down for some best of 10 $2 a game??
in Urien it would say that Urien almost has the advantage against Chun since Urien is a character that he can make combos long to Chun and Chun has problems with that would say that Urien has advantage
I was Sentinel67 but now I am AGM
Twelve can piss off Chun pretty well. Ken gets a lot of crossups on her. Makoto can downright piss off anyone, but Chun-Li can’t try to run that much… all she gets are random s.rhs, and Makoto should be standing so there isn’t any fear of a super after it. Urien rapes Chun, IMO.
