HUGO’s ASS= Top tier.:lol: The funniest overhead ever made!:lol: Yea it is an over from a distance and a normal up close. So don’t use it unless your just out of sweep range Acesmith. Also don’t use it more than twice a match. It can get you killed sticking your ass out at chun li or Ken. Shit damn near everyone can punish him with a big combo after a blocked ASS. I use it near the end of the match when I have been sweeping them to death. Now they are looking to parry low and surprize bitch. Kiss my ass.:lol: Then walk up SPD. These are all good set up’s for hugo SPD. You want your foes on the damn ground so you can use your clap for wake up games. All of your mind games go into making your foe worry about getting up. You have 4 options after you trip your foe :
step1. FP clap, if they block then you sweep-- if they block the clap and try to hit you after the clap you will sweep them for free.
step2. FP clap, if they block then you dash forward and the SPD them just when their block stun goes away. This works only if step 1 worked because they’ll be sitting there waiting for the sweep to block it and wam you grip them.
step3. Just walk up and SPD.
step 4. Whiff the FP clap early just before they get up and hit them using crouching short, 2 in 1 the EX clothline. I use this in the tournament and I know it sounds getto and slum as fuck but when peolpe are at a sliver of life they will want to parry your fp clap. Knowing this you do the clap a little earlier baiting your foe to try to parry a move that will be finished before they fully rise to their feet. You whiff and they parry forward, thus walking into the C. short 2 in 1 into the EX clothline.
Good pressure tactic’s to use with hugo are c. short 2 in 1 into the jab Punch clap. Very fast for a hugo pressure and if they parry your clap they can’t hit you after it. Your totally safe after any clap. FP-JP clap are totally safe.

I worked on some Genei-Jin set-ups with Yun last night. The 5-on-5 Co-op cup video from Japan had a Yun player who rarely used Genei-Jin after the 3hit target combo. Works okay but my CC’s aren’t always on target.

What type oc combos did you do after the 3 hit setup? I can’t see m to get anything effective after the 3-hit set up, unless it’s in the corner. but still nothing spectacular.

Depends on which 3-hit chain you mean…
In the corner I always do the strong , frc , B+Frc chain cancel into Genei-Jin. From there it’s really easy…
(QCF+Jab, standing Frc) x N untill meter runs out then do DP+Strong , F+Frc, QCF+P
Outside the corner and with the other 3-Hit chain is what I still need to work on but I know you want to either hit them with the F+Frc or grab 'em with the command grab then do DP+Frwd Kick into QCF+Jab , F+Frwd(overhead kick) repeatedly untill meter depletes.
About the Remy trick…
I’ve heard(read) there is a special condition that must be met to get multiple Booms on screen at once but what that is has never been revealed. I know the basic trick is charge back 2 sec , tap toward then tap back (and hold charge there) then push P or K to activate. This gives you a little more charge time. I don’t play Remy so thats all I know :rolleyes:

I know the explanation itself is rather vague , but it does work and requires some patience while learning.
As of now I can only manage to throw a set of 3 rapid fire “sonic booms”.
I go:
Jab SB > EX Punch SB > Forward SB
After that Forward SB I always mess up. I wonder if the speed of the sonic plays a role in it as well? (Cause I know you can throw more after that.)
Either way just keep on practicing you eventually get the hang of it. Charge timing in 3S is a bit odd when compared to other games, but I like it that way.

To be honest with you I haven’t even tried that trick on an Arcade cabinet yet, I’ve only experimented with it on the DC.
