Coolio man, I moved out to Sac about 3 years ago but I still roll around in Rosa every once in a while to see family. I need to check out Davis but yeah I feel like getting back into the fighting games.
We have to figure out when everyone is free up to hit up MGL.
My schedule is super weird now that I’m supervisor. I don’t think it’ll change either until I start school again in the fall.
Assuming nothing changes, I’m free on Sundays after 9pm. I’m off Mondays and Saturdays.
Tuesdays-Thursdays are bad since I have to be up at 5am and Fridays I work until midnight

Haha when was this? People got over the “strikers” thing a LONGGGG time ago after DS and I murdered them with simple assist basics.
CVS2 has been MIA from Scandia for a while. :[ I’ve been trying to practice but there’s no venue ANYWHERE. Closest is SF, and that’s hard for the Sonoma Counters to get to.
I’m a 3S head but I’m trying to learn CVS2. If there’s any comp you wanna bring, hit me up. DS and I are the most serious players here and we can arrange a get-together if need be.
As soon as I get back on my amphetamines I’ll happily play with you guys again. My ADHD medication has been on vacation and I’ve been motivated to only play A3 on GGPO.

Usually for me too. Most of the time I have work at Noon on Sunday’s, so I can be out relatively late on Saturday’s and still get enough sleep (to not be grumpy).

It’s fantastic. The small amount of time I get for gaming a week (or month for that matter) has been devoted to MGS4.
It’s everything I wanted and more. The new bosses are pretty ridiculous too.
I’m going to see if I can get a few friends to come play some MvC2 at Scandia tonight, if I can round them up, will anyone else be able to show up? If I don’t hear back by 6 I’ll post and say I wont be there.
Also I’m not sure if anyone here knows the management at Scandia, but would it be possible to switch out the P360’s? I’ve noticed sometimes the joystick has issues registering lowback, with a lot of low attacks > air combo/super this can be a real pain in the ass. Personally I’ve always like the click of the other controller, never had blocking problems with them.
a couple of guys will be there not much of MVC2 players more 3S players and watever else is there like Guilty Gear, SC2, Darkstalkers etc…

The good thing about traveling with all of them is that even if there is nobody there to play, we can just practice ourselves (which we ended up doing). Sorry about posting maybe a bit too late, but I wanted to make 100% sure before someone shows up and I/we don’t end up making it.
Can’t stand the P360 controllers though, not sure if it’s just Scandias and that particular MvC2 machine, or if it’s the 360’s in general. It will randomly let go of down-back. Maybe it’s too sensitive, and I’m just used to my MAS click stick. Is it just me? Or is it like that on all of them?
A lot of people find that P360s just don’t work. From what I can tell, it must take a lot of time and dedication to get a P360 working properly. On the custom stick threads people usually go with more traditional sticks because they feel that the P360 is more trouble than it worth.
I’ve been saying that ever since they were put in, but scandia has the mentality that “they are new, therefore they are better”
It’s not too bad, but especially in marvel it’s noticeable due to the rush down and mixup of high and low. Been playing the game so long you’ll hear random, “Wooooooooooooooooow’s” when something like that happens.
