OK, i’m starting a list for friday. If you think you can make it, post. And if you know some mofos who play but don’t post here, tell them to sign up and post or feel free to post for them if they say they can make it. I just want to get a general idea of who can make it. It’s friday night, remember, and it will be going until a realtively late hour, for those getting off work at, like, 10PM and whatnot.

as for sf4 being 3-4 tokens… i won’t be playing it at scandia then. and if all sentiment amongst you guys is the same, then scandia might as well just not get it and use the money elsewhere. all i know is when it comes out on console, you guys can hit me up for games probably almost any day of the week when i’m not working.
it seems that there’s a pretty hard roadblock in terms of getting them to change prices. chris was saying that if you do the 20 dollar thing, that the tokens turn out to be 13 cents each, so games would be 25 cents anyway. that, however, is wrong, because you get 110 tokens, so you’re looking at 18 cents per token, and 36 cents a game. that’s also messed up because not everyone wants to drop 20 bucks straight up to take advantage of the deal.

Word. I think their approach is wrong. Their view is to charge what it takes to make money fast even if it means overcharging. Problem is, if you overcharge, you have to have 100% a facility that’s worth it and you have NO room for error. And even still, it’s risky. You can’t just “charge more to make more.” It doesn’t work because people will just… not pay it…
