the key part is doing the windcross as far as possible so they start closer to you. It’ll still be character specific though. I was doing some cl.hp combos in 2012 with raven and it was always dicey.

Yea, from cl.HP xx wind cross I definitely don’t see it happening. Most of my confirms usually put me in a spot to land a far wind cross, so it’s been working out better than I thought. Mostly I just try to go for wind cross, b.MK, MK though.

yeah cl.hp starter only works on the really fat characters. You can get some interesting picksups though. Windcross is a funky move.

Speaking of wind cross, what is your combo for hitting it into the corner? I keep hearing about it’s new higher float but it seems pretty much the same to me. I can’t even land a jab afterwards

you can’t do it point blank in the corner(push yourself back with a shuriken loop or jabs), but if you’re close do cr.lk, cr.hp cadc cl.hp xx hk alter ego. If you’re right in the corner just confirm to cr.hp loop, and tag cancel.

Someone needs to make an updated raven combo thread. Please I beg of you.

If you go to the match starting at 32:03, you’ll notice a part where raven punishes julia with cr.HP>CADC xx cl.HP>EX Shuriken xx J.HK xx cl.HP>H. Alter Ego.
I haven’t seen meterless punish combos, but this is a nice punish because it removes a lot of health (at least 40% from what I can guess).

After a DP try j.HK before cr.HP xx CDC cl.HP xx HK Alter ego. The j.HK makes them bounce.

The best damage for no bar off a cross rush/launcher is a st.HK, cl.HP xx HK Alter ego. I hold forward during the whole thing to ensure that the HP isn’t a far HP. If your online with lag cut your losses and keep it simple with cr.HP xx MK Alter ego.

I can’t believe this thread is dead again. Doesn’t Raven have anything new in 2013? I’d want to post whatever I can about 2013 Raven but sadly, I only have the PC version of the game and it’s still at 1.06 T_T

He has the first 2013 Major Win.  Raven cares nothing for new tech.

I’m disappointed Dieminion didn’t use Raven’s jump loop more. I guess he’s still not solid with it though since the only time I saw him try on Rufus he dropped it. I wonder if he knows it works on all sized characters since I’ve really only seen him even attempt it on larger bodies.<br>
