okay, here we go with some play by plays-
otaku and bas got knocked out at 5th-
the craziest shit was when buktooth played against otaku- the fucking tv screen went out and shit- it was nuts. they paused it, weren’t sure if they wanted to reset, and the sucky thing is that otaku does not speak a LICK of english- so he just nodded his head and i don’t think he knew what was going on. BUT- right after the pause was turned off, otaku hit a critical super, so I don’t think he had an issue with that. But buktooth held that shit down and eliminated him. It was nuts~ but peep the otaku kindebu match- that was teh zexy. combofiend was nuts too, that fool used rolento and eagle and held shit down. he is really fun to watch- his match with ricky too was really awesome to watch. props to all.
as for 3s, fubar beat combofiend with chun in 2-1, then kindebu beat cole i don’t remember the count. then I played ricky, and damn he OWNS me for free. That fool has a SICK ass chun li. he will super off of reaction of whiffed ken low fowards- but yeah he just whupped my ass. I didn’t really get to talk to him, but DAMN his chun is off teh chain. then Hsien lost to justin-
i played fubar next, it was craziness. we double koed at the final round, and then rematch and then i hit up chokecity.net, props to fubar though, it was MAAAAD fun. Then hsien and fubar played, fubar won the first game, then in the second, fubar won the first round, then the second hsien was owning up, but then fubar pulled some crazy comeback and won. it was insanity. much fun. then fubar lost to ricky, then ricky lost to justin, but ricky wasn’t playing seriously because he was using ken. still great though.
for the SBO- flashg from NY did really well. he beat frankie3s, then lost to pyro. Justin then stepped up to pyro and lost. I think it was a 2 rounds to none, but i’m not sure exactly. after the match, pyro said to justin ‘too easy too easy’- i thought that was a little mean.
then simon and floe lost to frankie3s, didn’t play pyro. frankie has a REALLY solid denjin ryu. don’t be fooled into thinking ryu can’t hang, cause it’s real solid.
then southwest- mike jones lost to frankie, fubar beat frankie in a relatively close match, then fubar and pyro played and it was actually really intense. pyro was feeling some heat today (no pun intended) but he did really well. intensity in-ten-cities.
I left after that because i got like 6 hrs of sleep these past two days. TS rocked this year, it was crazzzzzzzzzzzy.
MAAAAD props to all the people holdin that shit down. Lay and the AV crew are gonna prepare a SICK ass dvd- you will definitely need to buy it. its GONNA ROCK. its gonna have top 16 of every game i believe and it will have alternate camera angles to see the player and the match- don’t watch me though because i’m always goin insane.
props to ranma(chris) and all the people running the pools, all the TS5/stargate crew for really making this shit badass. seriously- amazing tourney. for those who couldn’t come, you really missed out. PAYCE!
