Yo man good effin’ GEES. You leveled up like crazy man. I swear to God I couldn’t open you up [pause]. Cody was blocking…EVERYTHING. I was like damn son, hit a button! There was just so much…blocking…in that match on both sides though between Yang’s offensive pressure and Cody’s frame traps.
Yeah man I realized that towards the end of the set and if you notice I started command grabbing. I just gotta work on a good damage follow up. I’m so use to niggas spazzing out reversals after the grab I’m scared to try a follow up.
Haha man that mixup was subconscious. I just used the overhead to close distance then dive kicked to start corner pressure. I’ll take it though!

Whew! Rent issue is taken care of! I didn’t just dodge a bullet this time – it was shotgun spray aimed right at me. Pulled some Matrix-level stuff, except where they make guns appear, I do the same with sales. Literally pulled two big sales out of my ass right at the last minute. I can’t wait until I can graduate so I can get a real job. Art classes take too much damn time and mean I’m still stuck modding for fun and (virtually) profit.

edit: Redid my budget. Found out I actually have enough to go see Tekken: Blood Vengeance Tuesday night (as in the only night it’s showing EVER.)

Nice to hear about people blocking. Good blocking is the most important thing for a Cody player, if you ask me. Nothing is harder to deal with than a Cody who just sits and blocks and techs well, at least not in the case of my characters where my only option is pure offense, and I’m just getting blocked and eating damage trying to do mah thang. Cody hurts on 900/850 health characters. Actually Cody is just a pain in the ass in general in AE, but I can definitely appreciate the skill he takes.
You will be hard pressed to find a Cody player who blocks as much as Squab does. But Cody has to block he has no universal get off me like a DP.

I’m hoping it’s one of those “let’s give him a ton of buffs, and we’ll slowly take them away as time goes on” deals. There is absolutely no reason he needs all of those changes. His j.S has groundbounce properties now? WTF? Come to think of it, I think he’s well balanced in MvC3.

Alas, I am free of my accursed full time 3rd shift job. I would highly recommend avoiding the ever loving SHIT out of 3rd shift. Holy fuck does it suck. You’ll feel like you just don’t sleep anymore. That is assuming you want to do anything besides work. It sucks hard fucking core. And the weekends you have off just fuck up your sleep schedule, so your biological clock is in permanent “WTF IS GOING ON WHERE THE FUCK AM I” mode.
But the pay was good at least.
