I for one can’t wait for SSF4 for this single thing alone, endless battle. Can’t wait for us all to be in the same room at the same time, rotating matchups, rooting each other on, as well as giving pointers regardless if it is online or not!

GGs but to be fair that lag was absolutely retarded, every single time you did and an EX sonic boom I tried to do a EX Green Hand and it wouldn’t come out. Also I can’t even count on my hands how many time I’d do an SPD and Gief would jump then a second later jab. BUT you’re for sure getting better didn’t see almost any random FK’s and stuff.

Good games to everyone yesterday at Sean’s house. Yesterday was the first day that i played entirely on stick, no pad! I am moving over to stick guys! I will admit, it is difficult but hopefully beneficial.

Thanks for posting the match man, one thing I gotta throw out is that you need to stop throwing out EX shory’s on punishment, If I’m correct they do the same damage as heavy.

watching your vids against certain characters:
against gief : Keep him out…out out out out. And stay away from him. Use Chun’s standing roundhouse from far away, standing fierce when he tries to jump mid range, and if he’s close on jump in, jump away from him (if you are not in the corner). His jump in fierce will beat you sometimes if you mistime your poke so watch out for that. If you are in the corner against gief, pray that you guess right, or you are dead. Jump away roundhouse is good if they are not expecting it on giefs wake up, I don’t know of a counter for gief if it hits him (I don’t think EX green hands covers the distance, but I could be wrong). Do not hashansun against this guy up close cause he can punish on block.
against ryu: Chun has a good poke in this match, standing medium punch. Try not to mash out legs in block strings against him…good anti airs if you are on the ground is standing neutral medium kick,standing fierce, and crouching medium punch…when using crounching medium punch look for him to start empty jumping you if he gets hit by this a lot during the match. Meeting him in the air, air throw is golden, neutral jump roundhouse, and jumping fierce x 2 (timing has to be good on this one). Hashansun over fireballs if you can predict when he will throw one, or you can do it on reaction.
Try not to use that df. RH. cross up a lot during matches. People can block it and punish accordingly if you throw out a move after they block it. I also noticed that you wanted EX legs on occassion (I think) but got regular legs instead. There is a method to getting them out faster, but I can’t explain it in words without actually showing someone. There are some vids on youtube that show you how, I’m sure.

I have a hard time w/ both of those matches and agree with all of your tips, thats why I love posting up these matches as I can look back and see what I did wrong and correct… OK another Chun question though… I’ve seen a pretty good combo vid where she’ll hit with focus to get crumple, instant stomp x 1 --> j.Fiercex1 -->EX SBK? (I think)… you know what I’m taking about? Either way I just cant connect the j.fiercex1…
EDIT: sorry I am wrong, its focus attack, BACKDASH, and then jump to stomp, j.fierce, etc… still cant hit it though?! I cant do the jumping attack fast enough to hit…

If you are in the Cordova/Bartlett/Wolfchase area in Memphis I’m hosting an open freeplay session for SF4, Wednesday night, at Powerplay Videogames, from 7:00-9:00 PM.
We’ll be on 360, and bringing your own controller or stick is recommended. However, I will provide a Fightpad and classic controller for public use. If you play on PS3, and you are willing to bring your setup, please do. I’ll have to ask permission to get a second setup going, but the venue had no problem with it last time.
The venue is located at 841 N. Germantown Pkwy in Cordova, beside the Outdoors, Inc.
Good sportsmanship is expected, and please keep the salt to a minimum, as we are going to be in a public area. Format will be announced on-site, and will depend on the number of players who attend.
