Akuma’s is so fucking goofy. The first kick made it look like something terrible was about to happen, but then he went Daffy Duck for the approach and I lost it.
Gouken’s might actually replace Shin SRK. All the old Ultra setups look like they’ll work and it will probably have a few exclusive to it. I’m not sure about damage since they never showed a full connection, but since it’s Denjin, the stun’s probably wicked.
Also, they nerfed Rufus’s j.RH -> EX Snake Strike bad, so quit your bitchin’.

I saw it during the stream, I don’t think they have a recording of it. At first, I wasn’t sure 'cause of the stream quality, but there’s a run down on most of the characters on iplaywinner from the event, and that was one thing they noted for him.
So Vega’s new ultra looks like it is going to be AMAZING. Like, punish whiffed stuff from very far away, and punish blicked Blanka balls and stuff. It goes so far, so fast. Also, Piece of Mercury is now an overhead. Ballin’. I honestly don’t really care, because jump back fierce punch is so good. Still cool though. It does very little hit and block stun, so it should set-up tick throws well. I definitely have no desire to play any of the new characters, but I will try them out. EX snake strike is nerfed, and apparently Sagat has less health and some of hsi moves do less damage. Nice.
Capcom really fucked up with Akuma’s new ultra. Everyone was practically begging for his Gou-hado super to be his new ultra. I dunno.
I wonder if they took out his rh. loop. I only really see it as useful against Sagat. You’re never going to hit it on Seth or Zangief, and against some of the others like Abel it is just gay because you can already just spam standing roundhouse and he doesn’t have an answer.
