Wetworx was actually a West Coast division team, yet we had 3 players in midwest/central. I remember Lance AND Lan Matrix … lol, old times, I had my first Bawlz (no homo) there and it was like a revelation. A friend of mine, Adam (xnoskilz), was friends with Lance. I can also remember Kyle Ksharp being there one day. We probably crossed paths because I was up there quite a few times with Adam.

- You don’t care about tournaments that don’t have big names/aren’t streamed.

- You probably aren’t interested in going to any fight nights or anything.

@Grimstar: I said something on SRK and someone didn’t like it. They said I had no business talking about the local scene if I knew nothing about it and I said I had SEEN a few dudes from the scene at my guy’s house, and I did. He said to come here since I was claiming I ‘knew’ people so I came to say my piece. It probably did me more harm then good and you’re right, I probably shouldn’t be posting here. This ain’t my scene I can tell you all are a tight group, so go ahead and keep doing what you do, got nothing but respect for it. For real tho, everything else that ppl wanted to say has been said on both sides. So, let me just ask you a question.
Are you interested in meeting/playing new players of all skill levels locally? Players who don’t know or go to Sean’s place. Since you play Marvel I know that we have Jas, Johnny, Woot, James, Carl, Bishop, Squabb is learning plus prolly a few more than I remember atm who can probably sit down and have some friendly matches with you.
If you are interested, well then there is the Wednesday fight night plus the random weekend gatherings to meet and play new folks.
If you are not interested and are happy with just playing the folks you already know, then hey no worries. Do your thing and don’t worry about it.
Personally, I’d love for you to come out and play with us, and I may even have met you at Lan Matrix back in the old days, lol. But I respect if you feel content where you are at right now. If you want to get games in, you know where to find us.
