Would the switch just stop working like that in mid play? Regardless, I have next Tuesday off so ill bring my stick and the jlf.

Any advice for the harness? Since I initially modded the stick I’ve been using masking tape but sometimes it comes loose and then I have to reattach it.

EDIT: Also, I might try to make Sunday of MWC happen cause of SCV, but I don’t know yet.

I have an extra Toodles made harness that uses the appropriate JLF end. I’ll look up how much it normally costs, and just sell it to you at cost.
I’ve seen weird behavior with switches. Just depends on what happens. The contact point on those things is tiny.

Bishop! GGs in the FS. Refreshing to play against someone who actually knows how to play the game. Those were some nice ass matches. Also, that one Vanessa custom had me going, “goddammmmn” lol. Netcode is fire. I love this shit.

Marvel was really fun last night even though I’m really bad I’m gonna start training again! Wolvie + Rapid Slash is really really good!

GGs to all 3 people (out of 5 total) I played last night … Jas/Josh in Marvel/KOF and Dax in AE. Btw Dax, that reverse perfect round was too awesome.

Marvel is fun … but certain characters right now make me not want to play at all (Vergil for one). Especially when trying to get a hang of the game and see whats going on, that character completely throws everything out the window. It’s like a black hole fucking up the formula for general relativity - he divides by zero.

Went to a friends house the other night to play a few rounds of scv and ssf4ae…they suggest, hey let’s get a few rounds of marvel in! I politely deny, seeing as how they mash so much they should work at a potato farm…they constantly badger so I say what the hell? A friend of mine comes in, who is a girl btw, has never seen a fight stick in person, picks it up and button mashes her way to victory against everyone in the room but one. Her team consisted of hulk, sentinel and Thor. :confused: her explanation, “I have a marvel encyclopedia at home!” doesn’t say much for myself and my group of friends marvel skills that they can get dominated by a button masher, but the shit eating salty, shit eating grin everyone was sporting afterwards was priceless…

5 people at fight night? Seriously? Trolled. Glad I didn’t decide to go. Plus it looks like only the low tier players showed up… Ooooohhhh… Lol!

May be the low tier players - but at least we show up consistently and put forth an effort to try and keep a scene unlike a lot of others … (not directed towards you <3, since I know you show up regularly)

Yeah I think a lot of people were just put off by T&G’s recent fiasco this time around anyway. I wonder how this is gonna play out…

Shut up. You had a hand in the conspiracy that scammed me out of 1st place. I have no respect for people who do such things.

P.S. I only started with 2 balloons. I want my venue and entry fee for all games refunded.

I was traumatized by it.

Who do you use? Learn the system and your character’s combos, followups, etc. Get movement down. Basically anticipate and punish accordingly, meaning you’ll end up having to learn a bit about frames or whether something is + or - on hit. That way you know what your options are. If you’re playing online ranked, nothing but mashing idiots on. So you’ll have to dumb down your game a bit to beat them, but in the process you may develop bad habits. Try to play player matches if you find people who know how to play.
