Tennessee fgc represent

you mean there IS a RMAH lol

Good to see the love on Dragon’s Dogma, though it is a bit late.

Overleveled pawns will borderline break the game though, and since you can rent friends pawns for free, you can make way too powerful teams early in the game.

If you stick to using pawns that are your level or a few levels higher, you will find the challenge more appropriate.

Using too-powerful pawns is essentially getting level 60’s to run you through Deadmines at level 12.

Edit: By the way, who was the new guy at TnG last night? Played Marvel I believe.
Mike yeah I’m down to play any night I’m home. Doesn’t have to be slap happy chicken headbutt mirrors though, I also use the LUCHA. Hot Dog!

GG’s to Bishop and Dwreck in VF.

No, Hardcore Auction House is separate and does not have the Real Money Auction House

But who plays hardcore in Diablo 3? This game is like babby mode

Who’s not going?

Also who is planning on going that friday for ridez?

What’s the point of doing Hard mode anyways? Besides instead of running around like a lunatic you have to run around like Bear Grylls …

I don’t understand either of your posts but I’ll go ahead and try and explain why I play HC (Eddie’s right, it’s HC exclusively for me):

  1. Mainly, I’m addicted to the thrill of not dying: Last night my wizard got pulled into some frozen waller vortex bullshit in A4. I watched my globe go down to almost nothing, hit potion, pulled some mirror image crystal armor bullshit, got out, got caught again, and watched my shit go down again. I realized in that moment I was going to die, and I came to terms with it. The screen turned red, but right at the last minute crystal armor came back up, and I was able to TP out, and then turn around and righteously nuke everything until I was the only thing moving. It was (in the words of my then-deceased follower) glorious. Also, going into boss fights feels awesome. You don’t know if your char/gear is quite ready, but you know one you start it that there are 2 ways out: victory or death. Everything feels more epic.

  2. Knowing I could (and probably will) die at any moment gives my accomplishments and loots more meaning. I’m proud of the levels that I manage to get. Gearwise, I like the fact that somebody’s awesome gear is just gonna go “blick” at any moment, not just indefinitely passed down and into the economy until only the most gdlk loots will matter. Right now, gear is important at every level and it feels good to get shit that will help you survive.

  3. I like the playstyle, skill, and itemization balance being forced between offense and defense. You can’t just focus on that one stat that makes your damage go up, and ignore everything else. It’s a balance between that and vitality and damage mitigation (armor and resists). Also, defensive skills matter. The skills and runes seem “designed” for players that care about not dying, and when I care about not dying, skill & item building feel more well-rounded, and thus more fun.

  4. It’ll give the game a fairly clear ending point, if I want one, lol. I played my HC D2 sorc until 90, and she died in Hell A5. I remember dying with crystal clarity. I had played the SHIT out of that game, and at that point I was done, and it was good to have a stopping point. Right now I have 3 HC chars, but I’ll probably be taking one farther than the others. When one dies, I’ll be able to assess whether I want to re-roll or stop playing. I look at it like an extended game of galaga, let’s see how far I get, even though when I die I’m back to lvl 1. I’ve re-rolled a couple times, and it’s been fun every time so far. I think this game is pretty fun no matter what lvl you are at.

All that being said, it’s not for everyone, and I certainly don’t begrudge anyone for wanting to not have to re-roll for every random death, lol. Lag deaths are something that happens, and I don’t expect it feels quite as epic when it’s the servers’ fault and not yours. I’m willing to risk it, though.

I’d like to go Friday, but we’d have to leave early so I can sign up for KoF.
