I like bangs on women, I’ve heard people say it makes females look too young but I find that ridiculous.
At least we got a reason as to why Cara is so cold to other people, and how other tomorrow people’s abilities can be crutches.
Astrid: Her being a friend is bullshit imo. It’s one thing if they openly explained why they’re just friends, so far the explanation seems to be “just because…”
Time Freeze: I’m sure they’ll find weakness/downside to it, maybe other TP have an immunity to it, or it tires out the user easily.
I’m sure Time Freeze will be a random, undeveloped power for awhile. Just hope the writers don’t get lazy with it.
Actually, teleportation is pretty broken on paper too. I’m fine with ignoring the plot holes for now, but I’d like a more in depth explanation of the powers eventually.
Teleportation is a dangerous power if your form doesn’t have “priority” over other the molecules of other things… I’d be so worried about teleporting into a spot where there’s something in the way, like a small table or chair, basket, etc…that would be quite the nasty injury if it results in your arm or leg being bonded or even destroyed by the other object. I’m already 1 episode behind on Tomorrow People; I will have to get caught up later…
DRACULA is on right now— NBC. I’m easily entertained by anything vampire-related (with the notorious exception of “Twilight”, of course)…but sadly I already don’t have much hope that this will make it…probably not even a full season. This is because…
It’s NBC. I think most people know at this point that this is the network that is terribly harsh in terms of their expectations of any new show. They will cancel something with the quickness…seemingly faster than any other network. It’s always an uphill battle with them.
A Friday night premiere. – Fridays still strike me as “the graveyard of forgotten stuff” in terms of tv. It’s been a long time since I’ve cared about anything that regularly airs on a Friday.
No one likes vampire-related stuff but me. I’m still surprised that Vampire Diaries became one of CW’s biggest hits and is still going strong.
I’ll probably enjoy this for however many episodes it lasts.
Twilight made vampires a top priority for teenage girls, which are the CW’s top demographic. It’s not our fault they flock to a handful of awesome shows.
Ah, a slight adjustment to that last one… I should’ve specified… there’s hardly anyone else these days who is male that likes vampire stuff except me. Thanks a LOT for that, Twilight-creator. I’m sure she’s still laughing all the way to the bank and diving into literal piles of money like Scrooge McDuck over that success…but she has basically ruined the image of what once was THE most badass mythic creature of the night of all time. It’s why basically NOBODY in the damn games industry wants to make a vampire-focused video game… there’s what…2 or 3 every 15 years? (meanwhile, there’s probably been a few thousand zombie games produced.)
There was some other supernatural show on NBC tonight before Dracula… I’m not sure what the hell was going on but it was some wild, out-there stuff… and then they put that Prime Iranian Cougar Supreme Shoreh Aghdashloo on there (The Freeza-voiced mother of the Terrorist Family in that one season of 24)…oh yeah just based on that I’m already SOLD on whatever that show is.
I still have no idea how single men ever
got into The Vampire Diaries. That show spent a long time sucking before it got really good. I was just being a good boyfriend/fiancé/ husband for a while there. Then, bam. Claus kills 12 hybrids, drowns a bitch, and shit takes off.
wait what, i was imdb’ing, and vampire diaries plays into the originals. wtf. lol. do i need to watch vampire diaries to fill in some awesome missing pieces, because i watched the first episode when it aired, thought oh okay, and never watched it again
There’s not much relation so far, other than Klaus and his family, and the hot werewolf girl that’s pregnant with his baby. They do a good enough job of explaining the basic concept in that first segment (the intro that basically explains “this is who we are…”) of the initial episodes anyway. I suppose it may be interesting for those who want to see Klaus and family being the main villains of the other show for about 2 seasons.
It is interesting to see a villain from one show get his own spin-off series though…and it’s great seeing just how evil that dude can be at times. This is a guy that has outright murdered several characters…***spoilers cut in case you guys want to see that later…
*speaking of Prime Cougar material… Katie Couric’s show is on right now…wooooo those hipssssss :wow: Unfortunately she is not showing much leg today…the dress comes to an inch below the knee.
their is no storyline connection atm. but wouldnt be shocked if later down the line it plays into vd more. whats more hilarious is how vd can’t stop killing off niggas and originals we are all over the place.
Final season of Misfits started this week, it was pretty ridiculous. I was hoping they’d just start off with a main story arch then sprinkle the silly bits in between.
I still can’t call the show “VD” with a straight face.
I like Klaus, dude is a pure romance killer and well… a killer. If you’re in love with someone and Klaus knows it, necks will be snapped and blood will fly everywhere, and you will be a dead tool in his master plan.
Sleepy Hollow marathon is on FX right now, for those like me that have still been behind on that one.
*Female cop on this show—oh yes, she would get pounced with the quickness…and her mouth looks absolutely fantastic; she could probably give some truly unforgettable head.
*Ah, Crane’s old girl Katrina in the dream-sequence right now is a hot one too…
Ah yes, forgot the commentary on the Dracula eye-candy as well—the blonde on there that obviously wants Drac to hit… she’s a good one. I think they already got it on in the first episode… I just remember her cleavage was looking really nice.
The Turn Up is REALLL!!! Haha this shit got my dying of laughter lmao. Don’t know if anyone else watches BGC but I saw this on youtube and just felt like sharing.
dont you ever post shit like that in here again. i will break your arms
new episode of the originals was doooope. ugh, this show is so good. the women are so fine, a brotha is running thaaangs, what more needs to be said.
new episode of sons of anarchy too good. i cannot wait for tara to get caught, but im sad what happened to jax’s first baby mama at the end of the episode. there are reasons to dislike her, but like everyone HATES her, when they have all done fouler shit to each other then she did in the first few episodes of the first season. lol. you know whats weird, every week im like ehhh, do i feel like watching sons of anarchy, i already know whats going to happen, and every week im like nope, didnt see that shit coming. god damn. lol. great show
if you are late on it or think you will hate it, 2 broke girls is dope and still running strong. maybe a slow start in season 1, but its really come into its own these days, and about half way into season 1 imo. i thoroughly enjoy it every week. i think it will last for a long time. i think i like it because its a little hood too. like the writers are fairly tuned into hip hop and pop culture, especially the former.
random thought. you guys remember the secret circle. lol.
also new episode of supernatural was dope. im still kinda wondering who felicia day is though. the leviathan leader was so mad he couldnt copy her, and we still dont really know why she is so special, but she is in OZ now, so i guess we will see later.
