That show sounds fucking lame, I will now watch the greatest intro to a show of all time and remember the glory that was Kung Fu: The Legend Continues!

Lol dude on my fb is madddd. Complaining about Hollywood de masculining men over this :joy:

I just think it’s a trash idea to do… Male or female. I just need someone with some martial arts cred… Doesn’t matter the gender for me. Like if you told me if was one of the 8711 stunt woman I’d be all for this shit

hahaha it’s not a surprise at this point…this is just how CW rolls in recent years. The women are almost always shown to be superior in pretty much every possible way to men…the men on their shows are usually shown to be evil (unless they are gay!), stupid, or just inept in every way, and usually needing to be saved. The show-runners over there are about as subtle as a basket of live grenades.

random hilarious shit— a couple of episodes ago, Batwoman was shown being hit by a speeding truck while on her motorcycle. Of course she was perfectly fine after this and even able to still kick people’s ass once she woke up…yes…the impact of a large speeding truck only managed to knock her out for a little while. One might assume she had her protective highly advanced bat suit on and perhaps that helped by absorbing the impact, right? NOPE. This was quite an impact too, btw… like imagine you’re going down a street, and pass an intersection…a truck is speeding to that same intersection from the street that is perpendicular and hits you. Yeah it’s THAT kind of crash. She was perfectly ok after that.

I think the only non villian males allowed to be generally competent in the CW was Ollie, Black Lightning, Cisco and maybe a few others.

You can forgot about Superman, that boy was straight up impotent in the Arrowverse, I think they outright say Supergirl is a far better hero than he’ll ever be, not subtle in the least😂

uh…wut?

I think something like that was said not too long after Kara whooped mind-controlled Supermans ass. Also something similar was said about Kara just being plain better (by Superman himself no less) during Crisis

They lay it on THICK

That’s kinda gross. Saving lives isn’t a competition…least Superman wouldn’t think so

You think thats bad, watch Batwoman. They straight up make Bruce look like a goofy, incompetent lil bitch to make Kate look strong. The writers straight up admitted they DONT EVEN KNOW why Bruce is missing, they haven’t thought that far

Yea I knew about them not knowing why he is missing which is pretty fucking silly. How do they makw him look silly if he isnt even there tho?

from the recent crossover, Superman and Supergirl were both using heat vision on something, and of course Superman gets “tired”() and drops first…later he actually says something along the lines of “haha, you’re just SO much stronger than me, Kara.”

At this point, Batwoman is just comedy. I think the writers either knew it from the start, or just gave up halfway through the season.

They habitually point out how Bruce is incompetent and a quitter during various points in the show, and he can’t even defend himself.

He botched a rescue attempt trying to save some people who were falling off a bridge (might be Kate who he was saving) then went into exile. I’ll have to rewatch the 1st few episodes pukes and get back to you to be certain

Thats hella unfortunate and really stupid. If there is one thing absolutly no one could ever say about Bruce Wayne its that he is a quitter.

CW is generally incapable of writing powerful female characters, so they just make the males look as ineffective as possible.

The only shows that seem to not have that issue is Black Lightning & maybe Legends

CW IS improving slightly, Ill give them that, but they still gotta ways to go

Since they’ve already changed so much of The Boys already they’re likely changing everything about Noir. Or most of it.

Summary

In the comic BlackNoir is a clone of Homelander Vought created in case Homelander ever went rogue against Vought or the government.

He also is the reason why Butcher has hated Homelander as Noir would commit horrible atrocities as Homelander like Rape Becky, murder children, rape people (Huey being one of them, though he rapes Huey while in the Black Noir costume) and many other things.

Started rewatching the shield on Friday.
Despite showing its age in a few spots the show still holds up incredibly well. Its honestly one of my favorite shows.
