Walton Goggins is in that, yeah? I loved him in Justified and SoA (and Gemstones more recently) but haven’t gotten around to watching The Shield yet.
I’m about halfway through The Boys right now. Killer show!
Yeah. Goggins is in it. He plays Shane Vandrell, one of the main characters. He’s often to comic relief of some of the episodes but his character is surprisingly dark and becomes more so over time.
Even after all these years, I think The Shield still holds the record as only show to instantly become a favorite with the pilot. Though it had some dips in quality, it still came back with one of the greatest seasons (5) and one of the greatest series finales of all time.
I can’t remember where I was on The Shield, ima have to start over. Doesn’t SoA take place in the same universe as The Shield?

Why did the genderbend Stormfront? And does this mean they’re introducing the Payback faction?

Stormfront was the first Supe ever created and was a nazi youth and the first Nazi super soldier ever created. He’s super, super, super racist. Which is why his name is Stormfront.
He’s so powerful and unhinged even Hitler and his scientists feared him. He also nearly rivals homelander in powers. His powers are
- Super Durability (He can take hits better from farther away than close range.)
- Super Sonic Flight
- Lightning/Thunder Manipulation
- Limited weather manipulation

I think they are still using payback. I think it’s to add more of a dynamic because she’s just below him in terms of power. But their are no real strong females to fuck with him atm. I think it’s purely to add a diff dynamic than it being Carl urban vs captain insayan.
Also not 1 single preview video has connected the name to what its actually based on

Oh wait I lied I also watched the clip of Butcher fighting Transparent Man. That was funny and well done and I really like Karl Urban. I hope he gets to do more DreddDredd someday.
Rock just told me some vids did talk a lil but are avoiding the subject. Which makes sense given YouTube stranglehold on monetary vids lately. People prob avoiding it so daddy YouTube doesn’t yank their cash away

I watch alot of Philip defranco vids and he talks about how they will regularly demonetize him for just talking about real news subjects. Not even like opinions or anything. That’s why he initiated paetron in the first place to keep the cash flowing and allowing more freedom in vids. I’m seeing alot of comic channels go that route too

Yea I used to watch him a lot to till he started focusing more on YT Drama which I get but isn’t for me. But yea I remember him getting demonitized constantly when discussing real news.
Frankly if you want to make money long term on yt, once you get established with an audience that likes you, you should absolutly open a Patreon. It allowed you more flexibility and freedom in your work, and it gets you out from under the thumb of the absolutly incompetent folks at Youtube. Those fucking morons will do more damage to your income then anything you’ll ever do.

Yeah. Youtube has to deal with a variety of stupid shit from lawmakers and the like, so I don’t envy the actual people they have looking into policing content. But even then, the stories I hear about how incompetent they are at resolving issues are crazy.
