^hell yeah! I still had some hope in it after all this time…
…then again, this is MODERN CW we’re talking about here… so that in itself is a reason for concern, obviously. Let’s take a few guesses at what we’ll most likely get here:
at least 1 or 2 of the Lost Boys clique will be gay, naturally…maybe there will be 2 of them that are in a romantic, on/off relationship too.
1 may even be a transgender person.
Evil Patriarchy will be referenced within the first 3 episodes.
Female characters will always be shown as far more intelligent and capable than any male character in any given situation.
This would’ve been the deal for Vampire Diaries if it was premiering today instead of about 11 years ago. (TVD is actually made like a normal show instead of a device to shove various agendas into the audience’s face.)

I just read they’re replacing the Frog brothers with the Frog sisters, wtf. Looks like they’re gender flipping characters instead of writing strong female leads.
I’m wondering if that’s still in place…because the article mentioned this is different from the previous iteration that was planned…even the people that were initially cast are not on for this one.
just a small taste of the hilarity from Batwoman lately… she is shown driving somewhere on her motorcycle… and *BOOM suddenly gets smacked by a speeding TRUCK. Of course…she’s perfectly ok after that. No, she didn’t have the Batwoman suit on at the time which would’ve absorbed some of that impact. Yep…she’s alright after being hit by a big ass truck.
y’know, at this point I hope this show stays on the air because of how goddamn hysterical it is. It’s like this is secretly a comedy.
oh yeah…some black girl she was with back in her military days…this woman looks like someone went back in time a few years and cloned Sharon Leal from that fox show Boston Public.
It’s great that this is also the usual rule in CW…there can be no ugly women. The girl playing “Alice” is a cute one too. (Rachel Skarsten I think is the name; I just looked her up today and checked out that instagram.) Kate and her old girlfriend parted ways since Kate was more “out” with it, and the girlfriend didn’t want to risk her military career.
haha, and the funny thing to me is that Lucifer apparently did just fine over at Netflix, who saved the day… there is yet another season of it that was being filmed recently and will probably be out soon.
holy crap this episode of Legacies got surprisingly violent… the show has been disappointingly silly and lighthearted ever since the beginning…but this flashback with some of Alaric’s former students…wow, man…the werewolf dude ripped the first guy’s arm off, then the witch set some girl on fire before she could call 911 …then of course the blood splatter from Werewolf Dude’s first victim triggered the vampire girl’s bloodlust… shit really hit the fan here and I’m loving it…it’s like this turned into a very different show for this scene.
basically, the 3 from Alaric’s “special school” got invited to a hang-out/party in the woods…only to realize these other teens only invited them to laugh at because they were “freaks” (though they probably weren’t aware of their actual supernatural abilities)…they tried to walk away but the normal human kids were in bully mode…which caused everything to pop off.
ooh, now Sebastian wants to turn Lizzie and stay in the prison world with her…this show has finally gotten better.
“Siphon” witches are another top tier class of being in the Vampire/Originals/Legacies world, btw… since there’s always other magical beings and objects they can draw power from. My ideal choice would be to become either a “heretic” vamp (vamp/witchcraft hybrid).
Is she playing Caine? Haven’t clicked the link. If she is playing a new character then fine, I could give it a chance. If she’s playing Caine tho?..Dead to me.
