We all know that he got BEEFED up in T6: BR, no doubt about that, going from arguably the worst character in T5: DR to one of the best in t6: BR, especially thanks to his new options from haste, combined with much safer lows.
Anyway, if a bruce player attempts 3,2~F, how many frames do you have before his fastest followup. Sure, we can pull up the frame data on the various moves, but I haven’t seen anywhere that states how many frames one you have to do anything in this specific situation as no one seems to include how many + or - frames the initial attack leaves you at.
I ask because I think I know a VERY nasty shut-down for this tactic, but without knowing the exact frame count I can’t be sure it’s going to work. I’d test myself, but alas there’s no T6 machines in st.louis, mo.
But in all seriousness, I’m pumped for this game. Shit needs to come out quick so I can get some balance in my gaming life. This broken tier shit has got to go.
Don’t know the frame data, sorry. But what shutdown do you think you have, if you don’t mind me asking? Most Bruces would probably mostly use 3,2 ~F in combos anyway, followed by CD 1 loops, or CD 2 ender. 3,2~F doesn’t seem too practical to spam for heavy usage on ground, outside of juggles.
How am I getting ridiculous? What did I say ridiculous besides ask for a broken Jun Kazama?
Story is good inspiration for people that don’t take satisfaction in pounding faces in. Like, MK needed story. NEEDED. Anyway, I can appreciate winning, and a half-assed story, so it’s double goods. I just want to know if the new AK is actually Tiger Jackson.
I dropped SF4 for good last month. I just can’t stand the game any longer. I’ll play if I absolutely have to, like good sized tourney, but for any other reason? Fuck that. I’m already playing Tekken BR, I don’t have to wait until console. It may just be once a month, but it’s enough to keep an edge. When you’re spending .75 cents a game you pick up, apply, and convert pretty fast lol.
Nice, but no Castro hat = no P. Jack.
They could actually put P. Jack in the game and have “P.Jack” under his portrait, on lifebar, everything. But if he didn’t have that Castro hat, then he would be just an imposter as far as I’m concerned…
Lucky you, the only cab we have in Vegas only has 1 “manageable” stick and its 1.50 to play…and its not even the BR upgrade…
I’ll probably be playing the shit out of it at Evo, probably b/c I’ll be going 2nOut in SF4/HDR anyways. So I’ll at least get something productive done.
Some people like to know more about the characters, the game they’re playing and why things are taking place, as well as what it has to do with their favorite characters…and some just wanna beat other people and feed their ego (they usually don’t think a home version needs anything besides a practice mode).
Quick question if anybody can help me. I was looking into maybe playing around with T6 in my arcades but the scene is damn huge here (chinatown fair). I don’t want to be losing my dollars consistently to these guys that are just religious with the game.
I was wondering if I would get any decent practice and understanding from playing T5DR so that I could have a smoother transition to T6?
Man, Tekken 3 was my first playstation game and I just played the shit out of it. Dr. B was a bitch to unlock but oh I felt so good when I finally did.
Of course you can. Tekkens don’t change THAT much. You should be able to learn a character in DR, and go over to BR and beat scrubs doing DR shit at first. Then you just apply a few new moves and incorporate that character’s B! into your combos. A few characters you have to almost completely relearn but most are just old dogs with a few new tricks. Hell, I know guys who haven’t played Tek since Tag, skipped T4, 5.0, DR, and still did decent in BR with classic OG shit.
I suggest picking a character in DR, learning him/her/it. Once you get a good feel, watch a few BR vids of that character. Notice the new moves and combos. Know what those commands are. Apply. Keep a mental note of this when you go to the arcade. CTF you’re still probably gonna get it kicked bad, but at least you’ll feel capable.
Well yeah and I was just a little bored and curious when I asked that. I’m not gonna lie that I already thought what the answers were going to be, but I’m not entirely new to FGs being serious I remember seeing DOA tournaments on TV, but I didn’t take that one seriously because I don’t like that game too much focus on breast physics.
If it was a Tekken tourny on TV though I would’ve been all in it.
Regards to story what was the outcome of 5?
My speculations were that Hwoarang fought Jin won, Jin found his grandad and lost in devil form. Asuka was walking around randomly and found him. Wang was the actual person to beat Jinpachi. When Jin woke up he later attacked Hwoarang because he was pissed that he lost?
Heihachi and Kazuya did something, Marduk raped Anna and she makes him her new enemy in 6 and Julia files a restraining order on Ganryu?
The only thing that fucked me up going from DR to BR was the way ravens new ff3 works. Granted I picked him by accident, But that REALLY fucked me up lol. Naruto combo is that realness though.
