Devil saved Kaz’s life when he was thrown off the mountain in Tekken 1 (referenced in Xiaoyu’s ending in T5). And in exchange, he wanted his first son. A.k.a Jin. That’s why he decided to give Jun the goods. That’s the real story. That’s why you see Devil in the Tekken 3 opening, branding Jin with that tattoo on his arm.

I thought that was Ogre branding him.

I feel the CPU-Raged Jin should transform into CPU-Raged Devil Jin after the first round ala Ogre~True Ogre. It’s a little weird facing him before regular Jin.

I should make a note of that combo. Only Lars combo I did @ AX was CH uf33, d2, wr21, B!, b1+2 or fb21 with or w/o db4 for oki lol

I don’t understand that analogy

In Naruto Shippuden Orochimaru tried to take over Sasuke’s body, and Kabuto absorbed what was left of Orochimaru, I.E. his essence, and henceforth, there is no more Orochimaru, just Kabuto.

Same thing with Devil and Kazuya. Kazuya absorbed all of Devil and unified their powers. It also shows because he uses Glorious Demon God Fist, which is a move only Devil had in Tekken Tag. Kazuya only had abolishing fist. That’s another hint to their merger, also, his cybernetic left eye is gone. Check Kaz’s T4 opening story and you’ll see it. (you’ll also see it on his character portrait)

LOL. Mishima gang sign response You can also do:

uf+3,3, ws+2, fb+2,1, B!, f+3 (DE), 2, f+2,1~F(SE), 1. But DE after a B! has a small window for error. A lot of people I know simply tack on either ff+4,3 or d/f+3,3 or uf+3,3 (for wall carry) after a B! instead.

Did this on Marduk (big) once, so not sure if it works on a normal sized char:

uf+3,3, ws+2, cc~2, d/b+2,3 W!, f+3 (DE), 1+2 B!, d/b+2,1, f+1+4.

I think you can tack in a d/f+1 before the last d/b+2,1, but my timing sucks now, so I never risk it.

(Man… combo talk about Tekken on SRK… the odds of that…)

See, you have Heihachi Mishima, who is an asshole. Hes opposed by his son Kazuya Mishima, who we discover at the end of the first game to also be an asshole. Then in the third game, we get Kazuyas son Jin Kazama, who seems like an all right guy for a while, only to succumb to being an asshole by the end of Tekken 5. Tekken 5 also introduces Heihachis powerful father Jinpachi Mishima, who is a pretty sweet guy, only hes possessed by a power thats forcing him to be an asshole.

Edit: THERE IS A TEKKEN 6 Machine in LA, in Bossier City…man, 5 hours away, what the hell…freaking, I could of went when I was in Shreveport…damn it…

That’s the beauty of tekken 6, it’s so well balanced that beyond the top few and the very bottom they can’t make up their minds on where the rest fit.

It’s not so much about DE and SE, that it is about f,b+2,1 (14 frame), f+1+2 (KND on normal, and drops them right in front of you for a d/b+2 pick up combo), u/f+4 == bryan’s orbital kick, albeit slightly slower, but with greater mid/low crush (and with the right timing, it can also leap over high moves), and u/f+3,3 is essentially a combo breaker because of the great priority.

That being said, he can’t ever be top tier, because he has no scary lows, he has no d/f+2 standing normal launcher (his d/f+2 crumples on CH only), he has no magic 4, no “safe” hopkick launcher, and he has no guard breaker (a la Bryan’s taunt).

He’s a solid character, but by no means top tier.
