Can anyone in here actually do Giant Swing or any of King’s ridiculous chain throws?
Am I the only one who vaguely remembers reading in Heihachi’s T2 profile that one of his “likes” was “World Peace”? What ever happened to THAT guy?
They aren’t hard, but it’s one of the times where you need a stick over pad. Though Tekken is one of the games where many times a pad will equally suffice for a controller, King and anybody who has multi-chain throws need the buttons of a stick.
What? GS isn’t a chain throw. It’s f, hcf + 1. And why the hell would you need a stick for chain throws??

GS is actually good shit, not as good at GS2, and neither of them are the godliness of iSW. But I digress. Chains involving 1+4 or 2+3 start ups are kind of a bitch on a pad I guess, but I can do all of his chains including death cradle on a pad. It’s still easier on a stick unless you use macros, but screw that.

Anyway, I was wondering just HOW different can Feng Wei really be? I main Feng since 5, and I’m scared he’s gonna feel way different in 6.

It’s easier to input in the commands. As a matter of fact, with the characters I use, I really can’t see how you can use a pad. I need a stick to use Bryan for his taunt cancel, and for kings throws I can use the buttons on the stick to put the commands in easier.

well you can play hori stick style ( index and middle finger on the face buttons , maybe some chars will require your ring finger as well ) , or just MACro the stuff on the shoulder buttons ( eg : make Bryan’s taunt command as R1 )
eh i have a stick but i prefer using Pad for tekken FUCK STICKS !!! PAD FTW !!!

i still beast on the pad, but getting better with the stick. i know if i keep up with the stick is only making my game tighter. i finally have a movement game hahaha

yea its crazy, but its nice to have a finger per input, Vs. two buttons per finger. its speed up my input like mad.

Lol. He’s decent. But I’m actually playing with Feng and Bruce more now. Feng has always been my “safe” character and Bruce is so damn sick in BR. I kinda only pick Ganryu now just to be loyal to him.
I’m going to throw one more character into the rotation and that’ll be it. Used to be AK but I don’t mess with him in BR. I leave that to my guy. Haha hopefully I do achieve GODryu status with the fatman one day but Thug Ong Bak is just so damn good.
most pad players use fingers on the buttons part of their pad (as opposed to their thumbs) but my friend mains bryan and plays with his thumbs on the buttons and can do bryan’s taunt cancel just fine in T6. It hurts.

i play on pad hori stick style Btw , so its pretty much just like using a stick , i just prefer the dpad
