I don’t have the technical aspect of him just yet to back myself up, but I did play Lars a few times. He’s good. It was bad enough Mahir beated Russel with Lars for the first time without knowing him but if it got me wins when I shouldn’t, theres something about Lars thats good. And no we’re not scrubs to tekken. I’m play more Jin then whoever.
Lol he’s not a bad character AT ALL. Quite balanced. Just not TOP. I’ve used him a few times, my friend Kodee nearly mains him, so that’s where I get most of my info.
I got wins on regulars my first time ever playing as Lei in DR. What’s your point? Just because someone got wins with a character the first time they use them doesn’t mean squat. More often than not, it may have been because people were unfamiliar with and didn’t know how to fight a NEW character. Like when I lose to Alisa scrubs…

you have no clue what there slinging, you have no clue how they use that char. so at that point you just need to be more on D until you can figure out whats up. doesn’t make them godly by any means. lars is dope but you really have to be careful with his launchers. they mostly hit high and grant a free combo on block!!!

Pretty hype for this game, gonna get the PS3 bundle, I need a new stick.
Well I’ve made my preorder on 360, PS3 and PSP… got the LE edition for PS3.
I’m guessing that the stick will have a stock Hori lever and buttons. If it comes with a charge chord and quick disconnects then this will be well worth the money.
Only thing that irks me are the start and select buttons on the face. Other than that it’s a pretty slick piece.

FlyMike’s pretty much spot on with Lars. If you lost to him, props to the player. Lars doesn’t have anything cheap. I actually wish he had a sit down/push back sweep of some sort.
