Where’s this Hori hate come from? I have a fightstick TE and a HRAP2: SA(here’s a hint, they’re both full sanwa sticks stock, hori does make parts that are all sanwa or all semitisu as well you know), and honestly I prefer the hrap. Sure, they TE has more bells and whistles(which means NOTHING when you’re actually playing the games), but the hrap just because of the feel of the base. When you come down to these parts, it really narrows down to personal preference, assuming they both use the same buttons.
Now, seriously man, why come into a thread and trash a stick you know absolutely nothing about? The legs you presently have to stand on here is the wireless factor, which isn’t as big of an issue as you make it out to be seeing as how much wireless has evolved over the years.
It’s almost like you’re sitting here trying to convince yourself that buying the TE was a good decision…:razz:

Love how people play any other non fighting game on a wireless 360 pad and there is no problem…a wireless arcade stick jumps on the scene and everyone is like “OH MY GOD WIRELESS!!! It’s the DEVIL!!!”
what the fuck…it wasn’t a problem for you playing Halo or Gears of War or Forza or Project Gotham…why is it a problem now?
To be fair, there are some issues with wireless controllers. I can’t speak system specifics, but I know that on certain systems, if you have multiple consoles running at the same time, and someone tries to sync up to a system, you can have problems where it’ll sync up to the wrong system and pause a game that’s going on there. This can be a pain in tourney situations. Not sure how much of an issue this is with what systems, but just saying.
I’ve got DR myself, but I don’t play it anymore because my main (Lili) has had too many changes from DR to BR that it throws my game off if I play DR too much.
King is much stronger in BR for example, so are Bruce and Law, but some of the other characters, such as Kaz, Julia, etc. are similar enough that you would be on your “on” game in BR if you practice on DR.

So I went to Gamestop today on Wilshire and Vermont (L.A.) when suddenly I saw fucking Andrei Kirilenko (a.k.a., uh, AK-47) from the Utah Jazz with his son Fedya while being impatient with some dude who didn’t know about the T6 bundle pre-ordering shit WHILE staring at a sexy chick working there as well! I swear, I knew more than them: the $25 minimum, release date, all the contents, who’s on the cover, everything. They should’ve gave me credit… :\

Since I’m not the people you’re addressing here; just wanted to say that I hated the wireless controller for the xbox360. I immediately bought one of those USB charger cables that plugs into your controller and I basically treat my controller like a wired normal controller.
Then you too have come to realize that wireless has been FINE this generation…
When you use the play and charge usb controller adapters, your controller STILL plays through RF and not through the wire. The wire just ends up charging/powering the board/battery… That’s it.
Yeah I just hooked a charge and play kit to my computer and nothing came up. But I’ve used wireless sticks before and I really can’t tell the difference. Only time I ever have any issues with “lag” are from high latency HDTV’s Like ones with 16ms…The one I have is 5ms so it’s not bad at all.
I’m looking forward to the Hori wireless.
Now I’m just a lurker/amature fighting game lover so what I feel is right for me might not be the same for you. When it comes to timing frames I’m not the best in the world so other people may feel lag I guess. Lord knows latency from older HDTVs anger me to no end.
