Aye, I get you. But if the hitboxes do change, that completely fucks up the game, and I sure as hell wouldn’t want to see it in Tekken.
Could you imagine Xiaoyu’s moves with Marduk’s range?
Ohhhhh man. Namco makes it look soooo hype!!
???!??!!?!??
Was that 2-player co-op Tekken Force Mode?!
Or is the second character CPU controlled…shouldn’t get my hopes up like that. I should know better.
I highly doubt Namco would be THAT stupid to allow Tekken Force to be 2-players and yet only have one of them actually being played by the player. Damn. It’s like I’m looking at Brawl all over again in terms of co-op. Would even be more rad if you can go through Force mode through co-op online. That might be asking for too much, but still, the fact Force looks so much more refined is only adding onto my anticipation for this game. It’s finally all coming together after waiting for all this time.
Damn, I’m salivating over this shit. Why oh why can’t it get here sooner? :crybaby:
Tekken FORCE looks fucking stupid dude two players 3d bullshit give me a break i love tekken even more than SF but namcos fucking up its all about the game it self not items or *** ass machine guns
There was no mention of online play at all. I just have a feeling the online netcode won’t be too good since they’ve kind of dodged it every time it’s brought up.
Harada has a blog on IGN.com where he went through a ton of the comments left on his last entry, including the network code: “TEKKEN 5 Dark Resurrection for the PSN was our first online fighting game on next-gen consoles so there were limits with the network protocol and the technology we had at the time. We are very seriously looking at the problems with the online mode. This time we have re-evaluated the online component and decided to write the code from scratch.”
Hopefully the network code will be acceptable and I hope that the new Tekken Force mode is fun. I wouldn’t really sweat it though because that motion blur filter is freaking BEAUTIFUL. Makes you think that they could apply some new filters in the future that you could turn on and off in real time.
Besides that I think this is only the start of surprises to come. Hopefully they’ll give us more answers at E3 this week.
Oh man! Time to start saving up towards that 40+inch tv for this oh so sexy game.
It’s a side game and they can be a lot of fun as an extra. Tekken Force always had potential before but what it really needed was a 2 player mode, more variety and better controls. This seems to have at least 2 of those things and it’s not as if there’s many other new scrolling beat em ups to choose from.
Don’t worry about it. BR is tight. Even TZ seniors such as Insanelee and Kane agree. The only real worry was/is online mode. Harada acknowledged it in his IGN blog, so at the very least, we know that they know there’s an issue.
That mode better have online as well…
Trailer looks pretty damn good! I hope this new Tekken Force is nothing like the one in T4 or Devil Within in T5. No big deal in general, though.
Cool, you can fight on Nancy’s stage, without fighting her.
They need to put the camerawork in these trailers in Tekken 7/Tekken Tag Wishful Thinking 2 while bringing back elements from T4 like wall tech and being on a higher/lower level or obstacle.
…seriously.
Seriously?
No.
Sweet hype video. Tekken’s presentation is so awesome.
True enough. I still have my fingers crossed that their netcode will have improved though.
They’ve rewritten it from scratch (it was stated in the blog).
