Hey, just wanted to give everyone a heads up that IGN has a half slot dedicated to Tekken 6 on their Livestreamcoverage! It’s starts at 4:30 pm pacific time tomorrow (6/2/2009). You’ll need to be using Firefox or Internet Explorer to install the add-on to run their media player, but the install is quick…
If you miss it, I’m sure they’ll have it archived on the player like they did last year, so be sure to watch!
A: Baek, Bruce, Steve, Nina, Law
B+: Bryan, Ganryu, Roger Jr, Dragunov, Armor King
B: Everyone else (Mentioned Lee was around 15)
C-: Creddy
D: Asuka
F: Bears
Overall he said it’s basically the tier list is the A.) Tier, everyone else, then Creddy, than Asuka, then the Bears.
Acording to Arcadia yes. This was just a tier list based on one of Korea’s top lee players. So take it with a lot of salt. Still intresting none the less.
This will go for anyone else reading tier lists and shit now too.
At the moment, our biggest games (SF4, BR, BB, etc) are getting enough exposure that there are tier lists being made by individual regions of Japan, not to mention what individual countries think(Korea, China, etc). As usual take in any tier lists with a bit of skepticism, because just like us there are in cases a lack of solid play for a character which leads to them being downplayed, or and abundance of another which leads to them being inflated, or in even rarer cases, characters being tiered high because some guy has some busted shit that no one knows how to deal with yet.
Switch Drag with Jin and you got yourself a deal. J/K No but seriously, play who you feel comfortable with. As for myself with any game, i don’t pay attention to tiers and i just play the characters I like. The only game where the characters I liked were top tier was 2I when Ryu, Yang, and Sean were tops.
Stick too whom you enjoy. TekkenBR is a very well balnced game. Thus is one of the many reasons why it’s top dog. You can pretty much pick anyone and become a beast. The key to this game is learning other characters(which is a maddening amount of homework)
I believe Help Me over arcadia any day. Help Me said that Japan isn’t even close to Korean level in terms of Tekken too. Help me had no reason to lie about Korean tier lists and when you look at the characters you can see why especially when Help Me played them. Baek, Bruce, and Nina are so buff now and Law and Steve was already common knowledge.
About Lars. When asked about Lars Help me said “fucking lars”. Then he said he wasn’t Top 10.
ZTS, why don’t you post it in the current tier-thread on TZ as well?
I also saw the casuals of Help Me, Thai players and US players on YouTube; but the tournament matches have still not been uploaded. What are his thoughts about BR as a game? How balanced does he consider it?
He likes BR better than DR. Like I said earlier he said that as far as balance he says Korea believe it’s those Top 5, everyone else, and then those bottom 3. That’s all he said really about balance.
I figured really no one cares there. Everyone who was at SS3 heard about the Korean tier list there. I guess I could go post it but I mean people already know. I just remember people here asking for Koreans tier lists. So here it is.
I haven’t seen much of Baek play, but I’ve seen a SHIT load of Bruce play. I know for a damn fact Bruce has to be in the top 10. He’s TOO deadly now. I Lars is in the top 15 as well. But what about Jin? I’ve mained him since T3, where does he fall? Mid?
That Tekken thing on E3 wasn’t what I expected, but the online mode is going to be fun…unless you team up with some jackass who doesn’t know what they’re doing…
