TEKKEN 6 Bloodline Rebellion Thread - PS3/XBOX 360 Oct. 27, PSP Nov. 3

Yea pretty much. Those fuckers wanted to be “Equal” aka, We hate you because you dont have a 360.

What was this in referrence to?

EDIT: Never mind found out it was about the missing record feature.

Hopefully it will get patched. Very useful, I use to test stuff on T5 DR for fun sake sometimes. Alot of unique situations you could test. I mean I gonna use Alisa and Zafina. And I sure as hell know I would need this feature for Zafina.

T5 was bareboned when it came out and it got patched and it was a good patch besides the online lag it added alot for it being a 30 dollar game.

Cant wait to get my copy this week. I got alot of school work that i gonna finish early to play this bad boy. I play alot of fighting games but tekken was the fighter that got me seriously competitive XD.

Picked up the LE yesterday after I was done doing deliveries at work. Gotta love Brooklyn. Anyways, the intro for T6 is definitely inferior to T5’s or even the PSP version of DR, but it was still good. One thing I don’t like at ALL though, is how you have to “unlock” the story mode and characters for that mode through scenario campaign. The mode itself is okay, it’s what I expected to be honest. Can’t see why people complaint, what were you expecting?

Anyways, this was my first time with T6, never once played it at arcades so I’m in heaven right now.

“Thing I heard is that, it takes around 3 weeks or so for a patch to go through microsoft, and they won’t release a ps3 patch before the xbox one, so yeah. I heard we have to wait about 3~6 weeks before we can see a patch for this. Hey, at least they said it’ll come, so there’s hope.”

They better release it now…360s can break in that timeframe if they havent already.

Just jokes…not really.

They need to pull a kof on that ass again. ps3 should get it as soon as possible, on launch day if it’s ready, while ms releases it…whenever.

Half of them knew the risk going in (I find that the majority who are still lucky enough to have a working launch-day 360 only play pc ports and fps anyway. Later purchasers, despite the prevalent news of the rrod and system failure rate notices, have a more varied genre taste, which includes fighters). They made their choice. Tough.

Well, here’s hoping for prompt patches.

And please, fanboys, this isn’t Microsoft’s fault; This is NAMCO BANDAI’S fault for half-assing the release. Few other cross-platform games or ex-PS3 exclusive games had problems like this because the dev team actually took time to do things right. If there were problems, it’s on the dev team either fucking up in general (like the broken Fallout 3 expansions) or simply fucking up the port.

Pretty much.

But I won’t derail the thread

2 DAYS LEFT(for people without mom & pop stores like me)!

for those of you that do have it, is it true that the bgm for electric fountain stage has been changed?

Where’d you hear that from? I was just playing with a friend and the BGM is the same as it always was.

read it on TZ, nigga was probably trollin then.

The BGM for Electric Fountain is just cut up a lil different that’s all.

Same for Fallen Colony

wow, you have been pretty hateful for a game that you technically aren’t even supposed to have yet.

the game is patch heavy, but that means you get it on time (or early, which you shouln’t have), and if the game is heavily dependent on patches, isn’t it premature for your bashing?

yes, it could’ve been more complete on the disk, but would you rather it hit before christmas patched and working well instead of january just because you wanted it all on the disk?

you can scream “half-assed” and “shitty devs” all you want… the idea is hitting timelines while giving people a good game. patches offer that, and because of format testing from ps3 and 360 needed, yeah… the game you aren’t supposed to see is going to suck.

and on the 360 side, i know for a fact that the 360 was a major cause of headache on the development side, and as much as you would like to blame devs on that, compressing a shit load of data and getting it to work on a dvd isn’t just something you throw into a wizard and get it to work. the main game was running fine on ps3 in arcades, and a couple extra modes didn’t soak up a year of development time.

No, not the online patch, the practice mode record thing.

@Mr.Bastos: The way I read it, it was brought to InJoon’s attention at the launch party.

Sorry for the scrub question, but how easy are marduk, miguel, kazuya, jin, and baek to learn?

these are the characters I am interested in and i have never been competitive in tekken before.

Easy and mishima’s just don’t mix, although Jin is a bit more manageable this time around.

My main problem is my execution

I have terrible hands, but practice has gotten my execution somewhere between medium to medium-poor.

What character would you guys recommend for me?

You are a baby. There’s plenty of things wrong with SFIV as a competitive game which is why I’m coming to this along with dropping SFIV and you are complaining that the game doesn’t have a couple features on the day of release? Hey at least you’re not playing SFIV. That’s way worse than this shit. Unless you’re going to be competing in tournaments really soon I wouldn’t worry much about the record feature and about the costumes…the costumes in this game are still way better than SFIV’s even if only one person could use them. You could be playing SFIV and that would be worse.
