First day purchase for me, just spent an hour or so watching various matches, and it looks amazing. Tekken 3 was actually my first fighter, still have all up to 5, but never got a chance to try DR.
Suppose I can practice on 5 alright until this hits. Work on King, Kazuya, Bruce, and dat Jack.
The Tapout shirts arent too bad, but I wish they had King’s shirt also.
But I noticed a HUGE trend in people picking up Jack for this game now…I literally saw like 5 Jack players at my local T6 machine.
It’s not too surprising, Jack is a strong character who’s also easy to learn and has good reach. Not much of a reason for new people not to learn him, unless you just don’t like the way he plays.
Jack rhymes with crack.

I haven’t really followed the new characters that much but is Miguel good? Does his taunt have any special properties or was that guy doing it for a laugh?
Though Bob seems pretty fast and strong for a fat dude so I might try him. Also how is Ganryu in this game?

There’s a tournament qualifier today for the New Zealand grand finals at Pearlridge Fun Factory. It starts at 2:00 pm. Matches will be recorded and likely be put up somewhere online. If I do find the link, I’ll post it up. There’s usually monthly tournaments at the Tilt at Pearlridge too. Everyone’s always looking for new competition so if you’re up to it, step it up and play them. Hawaii’s best players go to Pearlridge FF or Tilt.
Jeez i been wanting to play Tekken 6 forever now! i had a chance to play a bit of it at the arcades last summer for vacation to japan and it was awesome (picked JIn :P)

Although Ganny is pretty solid in this game.
If Mig finishes his taunt you can input the unblockable from it for full 100% dmg. We were doing it today. Hilarious. Though not viable in a real match.
Ganny is still beast. Alot better than in 6.0 thats for damn sure. He’s my “main”. Nice lil mixups, great damage, and shenanigans. Solid character. Bob is just all around good. If he’s lacking in any area, I’m not aware of it.
Needs more ROGER JR.
I plan to take a day off from work once this game drops. However, our current work cycle has a scheduled release of November 1st for this project I am working on. Hopefully, that won’t mess things up for me. If it does, then fuck it. I’ll take the next week off

Yeah, Jack-6 is like Rog, easy to use and long range punches. His d/b+1 is Rog’s c.jab. Jack is probably one of the better choices for beginners.

i do like the 10th anniversary shirts though. I got one as part of my prize for winning a tournament back in the dizzay and in fact I still have it around here somewhere.
