Lars has hard juggles too…
uf:4, iws2,1 B! iSW == hard.
Useless. But hard.
I’ll pass, unfortunately, I’m completely done with VF, and can thank Sega for that. At the moment I’m not really playing any fighter, I’m waiting for Tekken.
I just played T6BR for the first time today and I must say, I had a blast. Wasn’t planning on buying the console port when it came out, but my mind is totally changed :tup:
Yo, how do you guys buffer triple tap moves so you can do them in mid-to-close range?
It’s in So Cal in Riverside County.
Me, the Sup, and the Managers desperately want to do a Midnight Release and Free Tourney for T6, winner gets a copy of T6 for the system they want.
I’m even going to host the tourney by doing Single Elimination best 2 out of 3 matches, final best 3 out of 5 matches and let players bring their own sticks.
Hell, we were even thinking of doing two tourneys one per each system, they only join one though.
But I really hope the game is hard street dated so it can happen because we tried to do that for SF4 but it failed badly due to the game not being hard street dated.
If it is hard street dated, then the plan will go smoothly and we will put T6 on displays days before it releases so everyone can practice :tup:
That’s why I like it being on PSP, getting some practice while waiting for the next match, hell even playing other players with PSP T6.
Oh hell yes, Especially the little wifi network shit. If you get it days before it releases, Sell me a copy
The categories listed in the first image quoted there are in order from left to right (Correct me if I’m wrong);
Pitbull, Wall Carry, Speed, Power, Grapple, Special Stances.
Spread the word. :tup:
I think it was f,N,f~f+whatever
Without attacking first it’s just pure speed (f,f,f+2+4 for King’s iSW). To buffer, do something like for example a jab (f+1). Just before that jab recovers tap forward and when it completely recovers you can finish the command. If you have Tekken 5 DR right now you can practice this. First I would start with:
4, f,f
Do the first forward in the recovery of the kick and the second forward as soon as it fully recovers. What you’ll get when it is done right is a kick and an immediate dash forward (no twich or nothing). The buffer window is fairly large and the kick gives you the time to feel how big it is. Once you feel you’re ready, move on to the jab: 1, f,f.
Get that down and all you’ll have to think about is pressing an extra f+whatever as soon as that dash forward begins off the jab.
Once you feel like you’ve got it and want to further increase your speed and consistency, do this combo with King.
u/f+4, d/f+2,1, 1, f,f,f+2+4
Coming from a King player, the best juggle to learn the timing for ISW is u/f+4, 2,1, ISW. Damage is meh, but it helps you get use to the timing to hit that last f+2+4 at the same time, as well as exactly where king needs to grab his opponent for the ISW to connect.
Also, it REALLY helps if you’re good at king’s dash jab timing, the reason being is because king’s dash jab timing is identical to the timing to land the ISW in a juggle. Just instead of N+1, you hit f+2+4. Sounds strange, but it really is the case. I have an easier time performing it off of dash jabs than I do straight on.
If you want practice with dash jabs + ISW, go to practice, and pick yoshimitsu as your opponent. Go to the mode where you pick moves for the opponent to do, and have yoshi go into flea stance. First jab with begin the float juggle, then start by trying 2 jabs(first standing, second dashing) followed by ISW. Once you get that down, try 3, then 4. This way, you’re already use to performing the ISW off of a jab, which once you can perform it from this you’re good to go.
foams at mouth
I will kill a deer for a beta test.
GGPO or bust!
Yay! Another BR weekend. Prob get a few with Bob since he’s so nub. More dicking around with Mig and Leo this time. Might pick Zaf once. I actually forgot she was on the game. And I need a fucking cheat sheet just to use Bruce now…
Lol crazy tier lists. First Lee is god tier, then he’s high, then he’s high mid, now he’s low mid again?! LOL.
Yesterday, I played BR in the Metreon.
…That’s a nice looking machine, and it comes with chairs. I mean, yeah it’s pretty much a dollar to play and is more than SFSU’s, but…it’s such a small, cute machine.
Oh and did anyone see Asuka’s new costume and the return of a very special outfit?
Heading out to svgl tomorrow for dat br!!! GET HYPE!
I don’t think GGPO is capable of handling a 3D game.
