TEKKEN 6 Bloodline Rebellion Thread - PS3/XBOX 360 Oct. 27, PSP Nov. 3

LET DA FLAMING BEGINZ :badboy:

Ha, I spoke to you a couple times, Mr. Ultimo L.A. Bus Schedule Guru? :wgrin:

Anyway, I was being semi-sarcastic, I think only one person blocked it during LUYG, and DIDN’T PUNISH. Probably was thinking "FINALLY…uh shit punish what huh fuck BD damn FRAMEZZZZ GONE NOOOOo00?!1  "

Personally, ignoring Hellsweeps, some people have that one low that is “unseeable” to them, regardless of the frames, crushing ability, range, and the fact that the majority of them give blockstun and thus should be unsafe.

Some people can’t see Law’s db4. Roger’s db3. Anna’s db3. Feng Wei’s db3. et al

FUCK YOU DB’s!!! :annoy:

I think Lars has the best low game because everyone thinks he needs a reliable low to be S Tier yet they never see his lil ol db4 coming due to his DE/SE/uf3/fb21/db21 fuckeries

I’d say she’s okay, there’s nothing broken about her like people had thought initially. I lost interest in her mainly because her stance is really weird and I don’t like her customs so far (silly reasons, I know).

solid Mid.
db3 is HELLA good low. safe df2. 11 that is +9 and HIGH damage. DES stuff. The reason she is mid is that her tracking is uhh… kinda like Lili in DR? I mean her homing move is b3 which is pretty fast and KND it is unsafe, who else has an unsafe tracking move?

oh yeah forgot to say hi to you, yo

yeah looking over the currently uploaded vids. Only one person blocked it and I got ws4

Lars db4 is like Lili’s DR db4, high risk medium reward.

You’re giving away my strategiez! :annoy:

I haven’t played Lili in months, but I’m pretty sure she gets a juggle off a NH db4. Lars gets… some damage (juggles only on CH).

Lars’ db4 is what… 21f? -20 on block? Ugh. I’ve switched over to doing ff+4,3 and ff+3+4 instead now (and the occasional d+1+2/df+1+2 “gotcha!” mixup) . The latter is 18f and -15 on block according to Arcadia. Less risk, less reward though.

In DR, Lili’s d/b+4 only launched on CH.

Yes, but IIRC, it launches on NH in BR.

Oh, I know that.

The way you worded your post was just odd to me.

uhm. to make it clear I’m comparing Lili’s DR version of db4 to lars db4. Lili’s is just slightly slower and does more damage (relative)

I know Lili’s BR db4 properties, I (semi-)abused it during my recent luyg tourny

alisa is trash.

she has one low poke and that is it.

@uui & nappy: My bad. It’s late at my part of the hemisphere, and I’m starting to type in Engrish.

Re: Alisa - not trash exactly, but she’s a turtle… with a really weird move list. Who else in the game has teeny-weeny poke moves combined with flying punches and leaping attacks?

i rather enjoy fucking up animals in this game

European bundles unveiled:

http://sdtekken.com/2009/08/11/european-tekken-6-special-editions-unveiled/

Hopefully they start selling those hoodies sometime in the future. Maybe in my size  And in black

oh god 200Euro, fuck that D:

I’m trying to find a larger clearer picture of the hoodie that you get with the Collector’s but no site has it just yet >.<

But still.

@MarkMan: not sure if you know since I’m sure Europe isn’t your thing but is the October 30th EU release date for T6 that’s now popping up on several websites accurate? Thought I’d ask since you are the Guru of all things Tekken and major news/updates.

I’ve always wanted to get into Tekken but I just havent bothered until now.

what are some basic things I should know? I know that you only block low for lows.
Im planning on playing Lee.

Alexanderssonic Boom :wonder:

Lee is a more advanced player. Start with Feng, Jack or Paul if you’ve never touched the series.

^ Yeah, Feng was a brilliant choice for me at the beginning. I liked the character and was advised by friends who played at a higher level (aka HAD tournament level experience, so it was something to learn from) and was able to level up my game from their wisdom and experience.

And if you’re still liking Tekken after doing well with one of said 3 characters, then you can look into whomever really tickles your fancy and see what you think of them. I tried Yoshi but I still can’t get to grips with him, he’s too gimmicky and requires so much input to do enough to win
