TEKKEN 6 Bloodline Rebellion Thread - PS3/XBOX 360 Oct. 27, PSP Nov. 3

IBeatWomen - so who do you main?

Judging by his name, he mains Chris Brown or Ike Turner. :nunchuck:

Forget Sheng Long, “You must defeat my wife to stand a chance!”

VF combos all turn into max damage out of a specific situation. There’s staple combos on each weight class dependent on specific launchers/stuns, just like every other game in existence. Getting a combo in VF is no more difficult than in Tekken. The other things to make you competitive are in general no different in level of skill required, imo, as long as you can grasp those concepts and translate that into action.

So, I’m actually interested in learning this.

I’m looking for a footsie-type character, and from what I’ve seen & heard Miguel fits that bill pretty well. Really unsafe, but fast punishers that lead to lots of damage.

Is this off?

You’re going to play Tekken 6? I thought you hated it with your whole “Oh the series hasn’t gone anywhere in X years.”

LUYG killed me brain.

At least I’m happy there’s an arcade scene nearby. IT’S GROWINGZ

Play someone like Feng Wei or Bruce. They can punish alot of crap, and they have a nice low game to boot.

Miguel isnt a good footsie character lol. He relies too much on crouching and hopkicks.

Bruce has the best low game in the series. The only other person that comes close to Bruce is Bryan, who is also has a muay thai style, in some form or another.

I’ve yet to play Tekken 6, though, so it might have changed.

That’s Lars.

Footsie? Check.
Fast Punishers? Check.
Lots of Damage? Check.
Unsafe? Check.

^Yes, I totally agree. Miguel doesnt have many footsies, His punishers kinda suck, His damage got worse, And he’s TOTALLY unsafe most of the time. <3 miguel though.

Fixed for proof. Too many options. db4 is broken. It launches. It delays. It brokenz. Deer in the headlights. Just ask Uui. -_-

VF and Tekken seem to follow the same philosphy with the combos. The maximum damage combos tend to not have as much breathing room, positioning, or setups afterwards, whereas a lessor combo would(and could possibly lead to more damage on a correct choice).

Use Anna or Nina. Poke oriented but can still deal damage, decent mixups, and pretty safe to boot.

Nah. Lili’s db+4 is a good move, but not broken. It’s slow enough to be seen, and its launch punishable (depending on the character).

I think Law has a seriously good low game now though.

But yeah… Bruce and maybe the capo’s == best low game.

lol fuckin d/b+4 haha took 2 days for anyone to block it here now they block it every time. It’s slower than DR’s d/b+4 but the idea is to hit it at full range or as a high crush. Hella fixed from DR though since all she really had to get people to duck was d+4, everything else is readable as hell which is pathetic. This is talking about playing against people who know how to block btw.

since you asked, I’ll make an account to answer inb409ner

You got to remember that db4 was slowed down just enough so it can be reacted to and blocked from DR, and inturn launch on NH. One thing that they did made better about db4 is its crushing ability. It can crush down jabs, most df1s, Steve’s ws1, or more recently found out Asuka’s 1+2. She is THAT low to the ground.

So basically db4 is used for as a STOP ATTACKING ME move. Although I noticed against my match with bfo he couldn’t see it, so I took advantage. :wgrin:

In higher levels of play I would have to rely on d3 and ff4 as the lows of choice.

I would say Alisa has the best low in the game.

How’s Alisa faring now anyway?

I can’t wait to get my hands on her.

ahem~

im really good in tekken and ill play you guys

grr!

I think she’s mid tier. Shes pretty good in the right hands, but her damage output isnt that good from what i’ve seen. But her grabs are pretty insane and her chainsaws always scare people.
