The Evo build was the same as the E3 build. It still said “this demo is for E3” and was called E3 version in the PS3 menu.
They gave out posters and some dumbass fake Jin tattoo sleeve. I got to take the big cardboard bracket sign for making top 8 but i left it at the gold coast. I think maybe Chet won t6 on psp for second place?

You’ve got to give Namco credit. They’re really getting involved with the community now. I heard they were taking notes and opinions from players at EVO, which is exactly what should be done.
SC5 should be a good measuring stick of just how much Namco listened (or didn’t listen) to the players. If SC5 turns out to be the best SC since SC, then expect Tekken 7:<insert patch name here> to be epic.

SC5 and Tekken are handled by 2 entirely separate factions within Namco though…
The same reason they removed it from the 360 version? Because it’s worthless? lol And going online, the last thing they’d want is gay slowdown in-game on top of whatever online lag is going to happen. Even if it doesn’t effect the gameplay it’s still gay.
Namco had it easy last gen. They didn’t have much competition so they could do whatever they wanted. Still props for DR. They could have just rested on broken ass 5.0 but they didn’t. Even 5.1 was appreciated. Now that Capcom’s made a comeback they have to step their game up and be more community oriented. They’ve done a good job so far. Seems like they’re going all out for T6.
Only dev-wise I believe. IIRC, the US arm was the one who held the recent online surveys at 8wr and TZ. Hopefully they were the same people at EVO, and the stuff would be relayed to Bamco Jpn.

Tekken Tag Tournament is one of my favorites from the series. A sequel deserves to happen.
Could you imagine a Tekken Tag with bound? Tag combos into bound combos, gross!
It would actually be plausible because of the damage scaling in BR.
However… the walls are going to be an issue. 
If they made Tekken true 3D - think of their recent trailers with the revolving camera except PLAYABLE that way - then walls could probably work.
OR they could keep the G Corp vs. Mishima Zaibatsu storyline and have the partners jump from helicopters in the sky ala BR’s Campaign Mode A.I.
Character against a wall could plausibly Wall Jump Tag or they could make T4’s position switch universal again (damn you Steve lol)
