I lost my love for Tekken and this port made me like it all ove again, but i have no comp!! I cant find a DR arcade anywhere and no one i know plays Tekken cept at College which fall semester hasnt started yet. Someone from South Florida answer my comp needs! (And yes i already asked at TZ). And is this game a perfect port or no?
did you go into the match finder area on tekkenzaibatsu? seems unlikely you didnt find anyone at all in your area, but then again, i dont know where you live. probably in the boonies
Yes i went to match finder and i went to the Florida thread. Seems that everyone there lives in North FL like Jacksonville and such. I only know of one guy near me and thats it.

i got to raijin rank with asuka earlier today and… CarpeNoctumXIII was right. once you’re past the fire dojo, the cpu does seem to break the throw almost every single time. then again, my friend says that’s how it’s supposed to be at higher level play so i guess it’s ok. i’m still a noob.
and i guess we’re all having trouble with :db: input on the psp? this is kind of weird since i did do the tape mod multiple times few months ago… but if i remember correctly i think the left underside of the dpad has a different shape, causing the tape to gradually slip off. i guess i just gotta open it up again. this is gonna be the fourth time. more dust particles. but o well… :sad:

What customizations do you guys have on your characters? For Lee, I use the shoulder emblem and chopper glasses. I’m too lazy to type the other ones I have for other people right now lol.
I think its pretty faithful to the arcade port. Could someone explain why it isn’t?
Like Tekken 1 2, tag and 4 before it it’s better than arcade perfect.

as for customization, i’m mainly using her costume 3 with barrette hair cut, skirt, leg-warmers, all colors white.

She’s kinda slow and her attacks don’t do a hell of alot of damage, maybe I need to get better with her but she’s not as good as Bruce or Kazyua.
I’ve always been very good borderline unstoppable with Nina.
I don’t really understand Namco’s decision to put all these charactes who were supposedly killed by Ogre 20 years ago in Tekken 2 back in Tekken 5. Bruce and Ganryu shoulda stayed dead.
For one thing, EWGF damage is down to 23 on PSP. Dunno about any other changes

I take back what I said about Asuka she’s awesome but I’m not as good with her as I am with say Nina or Bruce.
and why does Dragunov look like he blongs on stage with Marylin Manson? Sambo fighters aren’t supposed to look like Goth Rejects they’re supposed to be gruff and menacing.
Asuka far from top, but she is no where near the bottom either. Straight mid tier.
i10 frame character, but has outstanding priority.
Very safe and usually at plus frames on block/hit.
Great Sidestep.
Mid-Tier damage (55-68 on average).
Some of the best and most consistent crushes in the game.
Her only downside is that she doesn’t have to much reward on block punish outside of the larger frames (ws+3 for lows, etc).
Asuka does set up Juggles well

why nina? she got nerfed like a little bitch. i mean, anna i’d understand. She IS actually top tier… but would definitely not say nina is up there.
but basically its honestly way too early to define tiers… but as of now in general i’d rank mishimas and anna pretty high up there. rest… eh… needs more time i think.
