I don’t think that it’s necessarily got anything to do with the Engineer’s update. They’re just keeping all their icons and definitions in line. After all, dispensers DO extinguish your flames so you might as well keep a record of it somehow.

Disagree, I have no problems with Steam…and I think his argument is valid. I know a SRK cat who plays Left 4 Dead on 360 pad. odd to me but he does just fine.
Steam has come a long way. It’s pretty awesome now, never any crashes or errors.
I remember back in the day when everything went wrong. You couldn’t even sign into friends list EVER. But all the issues have been worked out and it’s awesome now.

Are you joshing me in the face? I can’t go a day without steam friends “going down for maintenence.” And i never got stupid in game errors with cs or tf back in the days before steam
I have had few problems with steam. The friends list going down doesn’t stop you from playing games at all, and the other errors sound like problems on your specific system, since I haven’t heard anyone else complaining about those.
Nope, never any issues. Sure, you have to restart steam every so often because they updated it for bug fixes and general maintenance, but it’s never interfered with my gameplay.
