with pyro you W+M1 and get some kills and die
with sniper you look at someone and click. are they dead? if so kill someone else if not try again
and YOU LIVE TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY

With a good pyro/medic team, you don’t have to necessarily go in for the suicide rushes.
Though, I will admit, that’s the best way to go on CP maps like Lazytown.
once you get good at it though, it’s one of the best and funnest classes
Does anybody have a link to the idle bot program that everyone is using? It’s basically a client that connects to a server through a command window and just idles, getting you unlocks without actually needing TF2 running. Thought about using it at work.

I just caved and used the Achievement Hack.
Bad move. I used the achievement hack A LONG time ago. Valve recently stated that they were going to start punishing people for using that hack, and I felt the business end of that. ALL, I mean ALL, of my unlocks were wiped out about a month ago. I’ve virtually gotten them all back with the spy/sniper update though.

Damn, I wasn’t aware of the achievement hack. I kinda feel stupid doing them the “honest” way. Still, I like the challenge and its a form of training to become decent in each class. To each his own I guess.
Exactly. I played tfc for years before tf2, i NEVER played any class but sniper…occasionally demo i think. When i got to tf2, only thing that made me switch was achievements. I said, hey shit, i like the other classes too how bout that. Spy recently became my favorite class. And then i shit a rainbow.
This is why I love the Spy class now. A short scenario:
PL Badwater. I’m on the payload team, blue, and we’ve already capped up to the 2nd checkpoint. So I’m spy with the Cloak and Dagger, and my friend is sniper. We’re both located in the upper catwalk area across from red spawn that overlooks the 3rd checkpoint. So this pyro sees the sniper shooting arrows over the catwalk onto the 3rd checkpoint and around the corner for randomness, so he charges the sniper, shooting puffs to spy-check along the way. Because I’m still heavy on the cloak button, I had none left, so while still cloaked, I back into the room. Unfortunately for me, I’m out of cloak, and start to shimmy indicating that I’m fucked. So, I know he saw me, so the while the pyro was busy killing the sniper, I hop onto the rail that’s leads to the lower level of that room. The pyro jumps over the rail, thinking I did, and heads for the exit, but stops and proceeds to double-back in the corner. So he sits in the corner, doing the spinning thing because he figures I’m still in the area, which I was…good thing I was already disguised. I timed jump correctly, and landed a JUMPING FACESTAB.
The most satisfying kill I’ve had, yet. I love this class.
tl;dr version: Facestab.
I went into hacker mode for a minute last night and got 5 hs in a row, all within seconds of each other, without missing a shot, with spy. Jerkshot ftw.

I’ve always been a spy fan and the ambassador is so much fun now. If I see a sniper with a shield on his back, I just blast the fucker in the head.
