Wow, nice DR nerf Valve. The DR was fun while it lasted, or until they decide to give it a mini buff.

I also got a Batters Helmet for the Scout, and another DR, Flare gun, and Jarate. I’m on a roll.

Edit: Cloak and dagger is superior, but it requires a different approach. The cloak and dagger gives the spy a new task: Reconnaissance.

Ya see cloak and dagger is funny to do, but you spend so much time reconning and saying “shit should i go now, or should i wait” that you don’t rack up as much kills as you do with regular watch.

The un-cloaking noise to super load, won’t even work on newbs most of the time.
The pre nerf DR was some of the greatest fun I’ve had with Spy. Being able to escape from almost every situation was too cool.

Well it’s not as bad as the huntsman ill say that, what an unbeastly worthless weapon. Who intheir right mind would take that piece of fuck over a rifle.

true, the weapon would have been better if the sniper had more health. it’s pretty shit far away and useless if you get your ass raped mid to close range unless you play VERY strategically.

I LOVE the Huntsman. Its a great mid-range weapon, more accurate than a Soldier/Heavy/Demo, and doesn’t have that tunnel vision the sniper has.

You just can’t use it like a Sniper rifle, sitting your ass in one spot for the whole map. You gotta be on the move, and be at a safe distance to pick off victims :slight_smile:

IMO this is what valve should have done wit the unlocking system.

It should be you have to buy the unlocks through points. a few points would be given out to gamers for every hour they played. and gamers would be given a set amount of points for doing each achievements.

this way people will only have to unlock weapons they actually want. and grinding would be kept to a minimum.

they could still make the rare drops, like hats, a random drop based on hours played and luck. and you could trade said points for those.

Or maybe, just maybe, simply give the weapons away.

Huntsman=very little skill, mostly guessing game.

Here’s somethin funny, i just caught a pyro standing still on gravel and i came up behind him and stabbed his ass with an arrow, unlocking a sniper achievement. Then when we lost that round, and everyone rushed in, i hid behind a corner and taunted stabbing the shit out of some other dbag…I win at life

They buffed the Ambassador. Headshots do regular crit damage (105 to be exact).
