Just got mine and opened it. Pretty much the same as the SF4 SE, maybe its me but it feels alil heavier. The textured art is gonna take alil gettin used. Joystick def feels ALOT different(in a good way). All in all im pretty happy with it.
^ I’d suggest you look at the parts again.
The stick and buttons are completely different. Try it out more, if you have an SE near you try a side by side comparison.
I tried the stick stock and it was pretty good, really. The stick is a little stiffer than a JLF and the buttons are more clicky than OBF-30s. I went ahead and modded it, though. I just couldn’t resist.
I feel like I could have just changed the gate on the stock stick (prefer octo) and probably been just as happy with it. I kept the stock parts, and I’ll put them back if I decide to build a custom enclosure for the Sanwa parts, later on.
I preordered this stick on Amazon and am looking forward to getting it when it finally ships. I’m definitely planning to use the stock parts for all they’re worth, just as I did with my PS3 SE stick, and I’m liking what I’m hearing so far. Quick question though. I was interested in swapping out the ball top with a Sanwa bat top. Are the shafts the same size so that I can do this, or would I need to put in a JLF?
Open’d it up and im really surprised at the upgrade of parts! Def alot more durable an they dont have the cheap feeling that the SF4 SE had! Ima play on these stock parts for a while before i mod em out! I can honestly say MadCatz is steppin it up! Good looks MarkMan!
I’m surprised no one noticed the dust washer has SRK arrows on it. Mine actually had 2, one outside and one inside. Not sure if they are all meant to come that way. (-_-)V
Stick is great in stock form, definitely an improvement on the SE. It will be fine for most just as is. Textured art looks good and feels fine plus the weight feels great.
All Seimitsu modded now and the screws did not strip while modding which is a great plus for me. All cabling inside is tight and neat, maybe even to tight, LOL.
There’s no other stick to even look @ when it comes to the Wii.

Scratch that, I just noticed the UK gameshark store is now stocking it. 
I noticed Europe is only shafted slightly this time, as at the current currency rates $79.99 is ~49 which with VAT adds up to ~57 and does not exactly match 69.99 in the shop.

Quick question. Does it work with Super Smash Bros. Brawl? I would like to break it in before the release of TvC, but haven’t picked it up from the post office yet.
^ It does, kinda sorta. But you know Brawl requires an analog input, and stick is digital. Sorry

just got mine today. impressed by the quality of the stick. i dont think ill replace the stick.not so sure about the butttons. i will give them a try before i replace them. overall i think this is gonna be a real good stock stick
