You can do this without needing an extra assist for otg. do the standard bnb carry to the corner jump call vergil H arrows land H arrows into Horizontal super dhc to vergil.
Kara arrow setups with assists:

Beam assists are so stupid with Taskmaster with this tech. Any blocked kara L shot leads to a high/low/throw mixup.
haha i’ve been doing that for awhile now. it’s cool but the setups are all vulnerable to airthrows, as i’ve learned. also the l arrow setups are negated by pushblocking. it’s still pretty strong and good, but it’s not fullproof unfortunately.
however if they don’t know what to do/don’t figure out to airthrow it you can go bananas with it which is really funny.
either way i definitely approve of utilizing this, as long as you remember to cover yourself with an early assist call- the way the stuff is setup in the vid is vulnerable to instant airthrows
Are they really punishable by air throws? I tested the setups vs myself, and you can’t even jump out of them if you block the L arrow let alone get air thrown. Maybe it’s disruptor’s startup too, but stH f+H along with Disruptor is a safe string that’s not air throwable either. Most of the setups do struggle vs pushblock as you said(Task as a whole really ), which emphasizes frame traps up close.
The kara H arrow setups are definitely air throwable though(but the acceleration makes the weird to throw), the L arrow setups if spaced well are not.
I’m well aware that this isn’t new too. It’s just a collection of easily applicable mighty swing tech that’s not used enough really.
i’m working off what i’ve been doing using triple arrow assist so there’s that too. with distruptor it might not be throwable, but there’s kind of a problematic gap with triple arrows unless you time it very well
^^ keep it coming guys, I use some of this (swing-cancel m arrows)for pressure, I also use the swing+down arrow to mixup in the left corner, but I def need to start using the assist+swing cancel+l arrow high/low/throw mixup stuff more. Also need to start using the assist+ swing+h arrow mid screen mixups more(dark hole should do the trick as well?). Awesome stuff, I also use triple arrow as my projectile assist, is this stuff unsafe using that assist or does it depend on the timing? Gonna lab it up some myself to see when I get some time.
Deadpool/task/skrull
Really fun team and awesome characters
okay, here’s a question that’s been a long time coming since i’ve been losing for months to a guy who i am 100% certain i am better than.<br><br>how the fuck do you fight zero may cry as taskmaster?<br><br>please explain because it’s really pissing me off<br><br>here is footage of me losing in embarassing and dumb ways:<br><br>http://www.twitch.tv/mattiikus_gaming/b/367854487?t=15m<br>
First of all, it appears that Phoenix is pulling the team down (against, ZmC anyways); all Zero has to do is score a touch and he can either attempt to kill Taskmaster (while wasting resources) or snap-back (like the other player did most of the match.<div><br></div><div>What you have to do is play super lame against Zero, slowly chip out his health. This will either force a DHC or will cause Zero to panic. </div><div><br></div><div>The goal is to eliminate Zero, since judging from the play with his Vergil and Dante, they’re just combo extenders with no Neutral game. </div><div><br></div><div>Whenever you manage to tag Zero, you will want to snap him out and force out Vergil and land a mixup and kill him (to avoid Derp-Factor 4 Vergil). I also noticed the lack of Shield Skills used in the match overall, you need to shield right through the Buster to protect your assist. </div><div><br></div><div>At one point, Zero did a raw lightning without a buster cancel, he is 100% vulnerable to Shield Skills since he cannot block, attack, or call an assist.</div><div><br></div><div>At the start of the round, you did good with the inital pressure by jumping to him. Most Zeroes will try and j.H to score a hit, Shield Skills should beat out his j.H here. If he mashed out Jam Session, then you will get a Happy Birthday. </div><div><br></div><div>I would recommend using a different character instead of Phoenix when fighting ZmC, they build meter faster than you can and can spare the meter at the end if it comes to an anchor fight.</div><div><br></div><div>With regards to the anchor fight, once your X-Factor ran out, you needed to activate healing field and go all out against Vergil. </div><div><br></div><div> </div>
i dunno if you watched the grand finals but rushing him down did way more than playing lame. my team isn’t effective in playing lame vs. zmc, and all the experience i’ve had in attempting that has lead to death when fighting pretty much every single competent zero.<br><br>23m in is losers finals where i run through a dude, 34m is grand finals where i reset the bracket and then die from stupidity.<br>
I’m working on a Spencer/Taskmaster/Akuma team (might end up putting Task on point but not sure yet).<div><br></div><div>Does anyone know how to extend Taskmaster’s BnB with Akuma (tatsu) and/or Spencer slant shot? Thanks.</div>
<p>The slant shot extension is after hard knockdown. f+H xx H arrow x1, Shield Skills xx Sharp Sting, neutral jump H arrows x 3 into L+H Super in the air. </p><p>Tatsu extension is, f+H xx H arrow x1, Shield Skills xx H arrows xx 3 x LM Super in the ground. I think you can also do f+h xx H arrow, L Sword Master, Shield Skill xx Sharp Sting, neural jump H arrows x3 into super.</p><p>It’s a pretty solid team for Spencer and I’d recommend Spencer on point for that particular team. </p>
<font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>I currently use c.M, s.H, b+H, S, sj j.M, j.f+H, j.H xx M Arrows, land, s.H, b+H, S, sj j.M, j,M, j.H, j.f+H, j.M, j.H, j.S, land, j. H Arrows, j. L+H Arrow Super</span></font><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>I tried using the Tatsu extension instead of j. H Arrows into Super, but they flip out after Tatsu + Shield Skills.</span></font></div><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>Am I just timing it wrong or using the wrong combo for the extension?</span></font></div><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”><br></span></font></div><div><font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>Also, not that I disagree but why do you think Spencer should be on point?</span></font></div>
You have to do sword master before you do shield skills and sharp sting or they will pop up and tech out
I think Spencer benefits more from Taskmaster’s horizontal arrows assist for approaching from full screen, which is something Tatsu doesn’t allow. Both are decent point characters, but Spencer has better mixups and an easier time opening people up with command grabs and high/lows. Both orders are fine, but I think Spencer on point is usually better.

Ah thanks, that’s what I thought. I tried both setups and I do like Spencer on point better.<div><br></div><div>I tried to Sword Master right after tatsu call + f+H xx H arrow but they get juggled too high by the tatsu and flip out before Sword Master hits. I don’t have troubles with other assists, so I don’t know what’s wrong.</div>
<p>The extension is Shield Skills xx H Arrows x3, not Sword Master.</p><p>After Sword Master you can do Shield Skills into Shock Sting.</p>
I prefer to use Task on point with Akuma assist. Start of the round walk up to the enemy, mash Shield Skills + tatsu assist is ridiculous pressure that pretty much cannot be stopped. If you combo, you can extend with Spencer and with a DHC can kill pretty much anybody. Spencer with arrows is obviously good too, though! I struggle with this predicament a lot too, but find myself losing Spencer more so than Taskmaster (because I’m not as good with Spencer), and with Task/X/Akuma, I oftentimes do not even lose Taskmaster because the pressure is too strong.
It really depends on who’s in the third slot, but yeah, Taskmaster/Spencer/X is a really strong shell. Spencer lets Task easily convert off of air throws, which is really powerful. Ground throws, too, though that matters a bit less since Akuma can do the same thing. Still, DHCing to Spencer is huge extra damage and a free reset - always nice. As well, Spencer assist lets Taskmaster set up some especially dirty crossunder stuff on midscreen kills. Still, whether Spencer is better than Taskmaster in that lead role is dependent on what the third character does for you. Akuma can’t really set up unblockables for you to have Spencer get you full combos from.
I am working on a Deadpool Task Vergil team but I don’t know whats the best Deadpool assist for Task extensions any advice.
