Yes, it’s possible, depending on your assists.
And you normal jump the H arrows and doing them on the way down. It’s kind of specific with the timing and somewhat character specific.
:h: :h::s: sj j. :l: j.:f::h: (slight delay) :h: (slight delay) :qcf: j. j. j.:h: j.:f::h: :qcf: :h: + Spencer assist :qcf: :l: :h: :qcf: :s:
There’s no delay in the arrows after the normal jump section
Thanks a lot.

Super jump hit confirm, its not new but people don’t do it enough

Cool…good shit…it’s probably “not being done enough” because the chances of being at that height AND getting a hit is pretty low as far as I know.
I find using jH for that confirm to be superior as it OS’s throw and has a better hitbox.
Ok guys I got a problem. I’ve been using Taskmaster for fun lately and I have a small issue with one of his BnBs.

That is the BnB in question except I use instant j.L instead of instant j.M and I leave out the st.H before the second Shield Skills. Now, my problem is that, when I do the second shield skills into launcher on the corner, a lot of times Taskmaster will corner himself. Is there any way to prevent this? What’s the specific timing (or opponent height) for me to keep him cornered instead of cornering myself? Thanks in advance!
Yeah that’s a problem you will have and it happens because of height. You have to make sure you do the delayed arrows close to the ground so you dont hit them with the shield skills as if it was an anti air (the top of the hitbox i guess)…only way to remain in front if you do is to INSTANTLY do the launcher but doing that will put them too high. I actually do the combo with MH before the second shield skills for extra damage plus it regulates the height for me so i think you should practice it as it is in the video to see if there is a difference.
Actually what you have to do is delay your launcher after shield skills and you’ll get them to stay in the corner. It’s not a problem if you start your combo outside the corner, but in the corner where you have to delay the shield skills twice to keep them there, the f+H into M link after the 2nd relaunch can get pretty tight, but you can omit it and go for jMMHS.
Well idk cuz from my experience, when youre in the corner and you delay the launcher, you give yourself a higher chance of getting crossed up.
For me, when I do the BnB in the corner, I do not delay for very long, even though they get placed higher. If they get put slightly higher, I just do j.:h:, Swing, into ender.
Hey guys! So, I made a Taskmaster combo video focused on levels 2 and 3 of X-factor. It’s a big-ass compilation of bnbs in addition to some throw and XF cancel confirms. Hope people like it, I just enjoyed messing around and figuring out what can now chain to what else once XF is up.

I’m trying to find a combo extension using drones + Task. I haven’t really gotten much, but I’m thinking of something along the lines of calling the assist + launch, air series into j.:s: hard-knockdown into the assist into some more hard knockdowns, into regular ender.
Any tips?
hey guys i am having a hard time with taskmaster.when i do taskmaster BnB i am trying to add shield skills in to Sting Master with akuma assist .When ever i do it the character seems to pop out of the combo please help
team Wolverine, taskmaster , Akuma
At what time in your combo are you trying to add Akuma in? You’ll find this is possible earlier on in the combo rather than later. It may be because of hit-stun scaling that the character will fall out. In my team (Task/Dante/Akuma), I typically use Akuma at the end of the combo (unless off a throw) so I know the hit-stun scaling would be too high to consistently get shield charge into sting master. I go through my basic combo and instead of trying to get a shield charge into sting master I call Akuma and use the H aim master to otg and cancel those into l-h legion arrows.
i just messed around with that and you can do what you listed there, or you can do:
shield skills, s (call sent) j.m, j.h, s, then qcf+h to shoot one arrow. this will cause them to bounce up and get hit by drones, and when you land you can do shield+sting master. i tried really really hard to get an L sword master off but it just doesn’t work (it looks like it actually could–maybe if you cut out the j.m?)
it doesn’t do that much damage though, you’re probably better off just doing the normal m-h-swing-m-h-s stuff.
depending on when you call sentinel, you can do different things, of course. if you call him during shield skills and before you launch you can do air series into j.s and get a shield+sting master off (the timing is kind of stupid). if you call him during your launcher, you can do the air series into j.s and then shoot an H. arrow and get the shield+sting master off as well.
ill mess around with it more, although i’m still trying to figure out what i can do with task/magneto haha
you can also do the swing+j.h+m arrows part of his bnb and get the st:h: (call drones) into shield+:m: arrows, and get an :l: sword master into :h: + sting master for ~530k without supers and extra assists, shown below

you can also use :l: arrows instead of arrows but i think it’s a bit more difficult.
that combo is also from midscreen going into the corner though. i’ll figure out a corner to corner version tomorrow and probably a lot more, hopefully. maybe this could be the solution to the task/mag thing i was worried about…task/mag/drones doesnt sound too bad lol
Anybody knew about this??

I mean, i could chain the diagonal arrows back in vanilla, it was hard but it was a good tool if Taskmaster was your anchor and he was all alone with no x-factor, but a risky combo.
Anyway now in UMVC3 it was harder to do so i stopped trying and now we get this.
Anybody knows why it can be done? It looks easier than the diagonal chain …
Any ideas or explanations?
I dunno if it’s easier. That looks super tight.
I thinks its easier, because of the distance that the arrows have to travel is arguably shorter.
But linking the arrows it still hard.
What i dont understand its why he doesnt go for a normal combo?, like the optimized B&B… it could be because he wants to prove that you can link the 5 supers or maybe you cant do a normal combo before trying to link the 5 supers?
Lol. He was just showing that you can link down arrows…This is interesting though
