Make sure all 3 arrows are hitting.
Make sure all j.Hs hit twice.
Beyond that, nothing.

Thanks. If it’s just a case of the the Hs only hitting once then I can understand that.
Why doesn’t this combo work on Zero ;_;
I mean, it does, but it’s SUPER specific and feels like it isn’t worth going for. At least he’s one of the characters you can arrow lift loop.
Edit: Am I doing it right?

Edit: Ahaha that is the perfect thumbnail, wow
Edit: I mean I never really just stared at that frame before. That’s really violent!

I’m pretty sure Taskmaster has an infinite, but my 360’s laser gave out just before I could confirm. Getting a new one, gonna get the old one (A gen 2 360 from a loooong time ago that merely never red ringed) fixed then sell it. Update tomorrow, maybe.
a TAC infinite? haha oh boy, if that’s real then… yikes. my team got even scarier.
gimme some hints so i can work at it!
My guess is that it involves arrows, and jumps, and Swing Cancels
what does it entail, DONT BLUE BALL ME!
Well. The TAC infinites everyone’s coming out with now work because you don’t lose the hitstun decay negation until you go to neutral on the ground, right? And immediately rejumping keeps that from happening. Thus: Down TAC to Task, delay, [j.:h: j.:f::h: stagger j.:h: stagger j.:qcf: (hold up-forward) j.] xN. May not be exactly that, but something along those lines. I think it might also be possible to do something similar off of side exchange in certain situations.
I’m trying this and when I try and rejump I can’t even chain L to M
this is weird
there can’t be any delay in the “infinite” part of it, i -think-. i was trying something like that earlier and i wasn’t able to get anything to hit after the j.m because there’s a delay between j.m and j.h. and also mighty swing.
unless you’ve already tested and confirmed it then i guess fuck my execution
Well that’s pretty unfortunate
No, I haven’t confirmed it, couldn’t before the laser died. I do have something else, but… I honestly kinda want to save it for evo.
Well, cat’s out of the bag, but that’s kinda the idea behind that combo I was hinting at before. Except without a TAC you can only get a couple of reps. Still, it’s more damaging that anything else that’s been posted:
j.:s:, st.:h:, +:h:, :s:, sj., sj.:f:+:h:, sj.:h: (delay this as much as possible)xx:qcf: (hold),/, j., j., j.:h:, j.:f:+:h: (stagger these as much as possible and delay the cancel into arrows)xx:j.:qcf: /, j.:h:, :f:+:h: (delay cancel into arrows)xx:qcf:(hold), st.:h:, +:h:xx:qcf::l:(hold), +:h:, :qcf::s:, otg:h: arrowsxx legion arrow, blah blah blah.
I was trying to come up with ways to avoid the initial launcher and try to squeeze in more reps, but the usual start seems the most damaging.
p.s. the last +:h:xx:qcf::l: (hold) is very hard and character specific. Omitting it will still get you around 850k.
You might be able to add an extra rep at the end by super jumping before going into sj.:h:, :f:+:h: (to take advantage of the extra hitstun), but it seems quite difficult. I couldn’t find a practical way to combo into sting afterwards.
that’s corner only, right?
sylintassassin hit me with that at bar fights and i was like “what the fuck is this”, and tried it and couldn’t get it to work midscreen
You can start it mid screen, but it’s not quite full-screen (technically you could, but it would be really hard because you’d have to ground dash into the second rep).
The faster somebody gets a video out… the better for taskingtons worldwide.

Was linked this on skype. Appears to be using the multi-hit nature of j.:h: to make the timing on the land-during-attack requirement lenient enough even when using a delay, modulating enemy height be using different normals to start or just going straight to j.:f::h:.
Not sure it’s just me, but all non-TAC combos now seem almost obsolete (well not really). That makes me sad :(.
The characters who get guaranteed TAC’s might shoot up the ranks, oh wait, that’s mostly Zero…
Task doesn’t really get anything off non-down-tac though. up tac, like, he can get a small combo to super, but whatever. If you’re worried about your character dying, break down when he’s coming in. 'course maybe the opponent will just use that to take away some meter with a side tac you refuse to break, but if they do that they have to have already been close to killing your character or else they won’t.
Some of them are really scarier than others. Mag and trish you have to guess or die. Others you can make more educated guesses.
The sequence for Tasky’s TAC Glitch appears to be: TAC Hit, Long Delay, j. :h:, :f: :h:,[ delayed j. , delayed j. :h:, land, immediate j. :l:, :f: :h: ] x N
Although, depending on height, the sequence is altered slightly by omitting the j. :l: and going into the swing solo
