On a related note, I think it would be foolish to think that the person who stole that stick actually posts on SRK. There were a lot of players there on Sunday that I have never seen before. Considering I’ve made it a point over the last five years to know my community and still saw so many new faces, it lends to believe that the person who took the stick isn’t a regular tournament player.
No one is going to see that stick at a US major because players like that don’t travel. No one is going to see that stick at a GTASF monthly because we don’t hold console tournaments on the regular.
Making a big post about how someone will get their ass kicked if the stick turns up is stupid because it isn’t going to turn up. The GTASF don’t steal each other’s gear and non GTASF players will either never be seen again or possibly once again at T10. In all likelihood, the stick has already been sold to an EB/Gamestop and all of these idle threats are a complete waste of time.

On the real, I felt Ali_Vegaz post was pretty understandable. I would be real ticked off if that happened. To the person who did steal that stick, that person is liable for all sorts of reactions. That’s what stealing something like that opens the door to. The way I read it, the post was completely directed at that one individual.
Let’s not make a big deal out of it. I doubt he has beef with anyone else or wants to. He could have been better with his words no doubt.
HOWEVER to any poor dude who ends up buying the stick if it is sold, I sure hope they don’t end up at any tourney’s. Whatever happens, that would be some undeserved drama.
