Who the fuck has been saying i stole the RanBat money? All i owed Shaun was $50 from the RanBat pot, and i told him i’ll give it to him the next time i see him. But ever since his Nintendo DS got stolen, which is another story, Shaun stopped holding casuals.
All throughout the weekend people have come up to me and asked me about the RanBat money and the fuckin pink GameBoy. I work full time, i can afford a car, pay my insurance, my gas and my bills. What the fuck am i going to do with $50 and a fuckin pink GameBoy? i own TWO NDS already, and sure as hell don’t want to add a fuckin PINK one to my collection. $50 is what i make in a couple of hours, and i don’t need to fuckin steal.
You all have my cellphone number, my MSN, and i’m online quite frequently. Shaun deleted me off of MSN and never even mention the RanBat money to me. It’s not like i’m fucking hiding, no more casuals, means i don’t see Shaun anymore. T9 was when iw as going to see Shaun, but he wasn’t there, so i gave it to Ryan.

If he deleted you off MSN, there was obviously a problem and you should’ve realized that. There’s no way this shoulda been an issue if you didn’t wait over 3 months to pay him back. There’s no way you were too busy every day for that long to just drive over to his house and square it off.
Also there have been casuals since that time, many of them. They werent at Shauns house, but he was there. Again, it doesnt take that much of an effort to call someone and find out what is happening.
Point is you can’t just wait 3 months to pay osmeone back when it’s obvious that they had a problem with you and pretty much written it off at that point. You gave him no confidence that he was ever gonna see that money. I’ve loaned people a lot more money, and never doubted they would pay me back, because even though it took months to pay back, they never gave me a reason to doubt them. Just saying, I"ll give it to you when I see you, and then not being around for a long time, just creates doubts and rumors.
When there’s a problem, you should go out of your way to fix it, otherwise you’ll end up looking like a certain person from Sauga who just makes excuses as to why he can’t pay people back. So it’s good that you paid the money back, but it shouldn’t have taken that long in the first place.
If I borrowed $100 off of you, and I just ignored you for the next little while, obviously you’d be a bit worried. It would be scummy, and the first thing you’d be doing is telling other people what a scumbag I am. It’s not too hard to see where people were coming from. This wasn’t something you should’ve’ waited for, especially to someone who let you into his house pretty much every week.

This is the issue - digital. If you’re using digital anything, there will be some delay. Although it’s possible to minimize the delay to the point in which we would never be able to notice.
LCD’s delay bigtime. If you use a CRT monitor (a BITCH to carry around in comparison I know) and have a very steady computer with the best emulator for that particular computer (some versions work better on different machines) you are pretty set when it comes to the system running it.
The controller issue is a bit of a problem. USB controllers will have some delay even if you configure your ports (PC controllers are the same as USB sticks, it all depends on the PCB of the controller).
If you hack a new keyboard PCB that has the ps/2 (the old keyboard one, not playstation2) connection for it - you have a perfect zero delay controller (analog). I have one of those with my MAS stick but it has problems hitting 4 inputs (directional air dash) at times. It uses a crappy PCB, newer ones will be able to accept that many inputs better. If you can get sticks made from new keyboard PCB’s using the ps/2 cord - that would be the best. High end USB controllers that you can confirm have no noticeable delay are nearly as good and a bit easier to hack.
