If you have to have the POWER FROM VSYNC jumper shorted for it to work with a DC VGA box, then nah, I dont.
well it does not have to be shorted for it will work on the DC it will also work from a outside power source 
ok did some testing with scanner learned something and got some strange results as well
First I learned that you can not get the full effect the scanline generator using y-vga splitter connected to the input of the scanner with scaler attached at one end. On the other I tested a 360 and Dreamcast it weakened the effect of the lines concentration on both systems
If you unplug the scaler with the Y-splitter still attached you get the full effect but then that kind of makes the y-splitter pointless I guess I will have to get a VGA switch box.
ok now for the strange test Results. I noticed that xbox 360 will not work at all when attached directly to the scanline generator, but works when attached through the Y-splitter and the other end not attached to anything this had me scatching my head its just some wires with a extra plugg on the end nothing else kinda of weird. I tryed multiple times to be sure to make sure I’m not crazy but the screen stays black when the 360 VGA cable set is connected directlly to the scanline generator it is a 3rd party vga set but still
The only conclusion I can come to is that the generator is getting too much juice from the vga and is causing issues with the sync so the Y-splitter weakens it
also note that the first set of jumpers next to Vsync lettering is soldered together and the next to VGA VCC is not connected/soldered
All of these test were done on both LCD 32 TV and on 26 monitor
also to add to the above post it seems to have something to do with the length of the vga cable as well. I’m not getting a image when I use the two 3ft vga cables I have but I do get a signal with the 6ft VGA.
I wish I had a female+female connector to connect the two 3ft cables make sure there are no issues with the cables them selfs they are two cheapys from ebay but they work fine when connected to the VGA box with out the scanline generator
Tested the 360 again today still have to have that y cable attached with the other end just dangling weird stuff

This is the bare bone test model even/off/odd
Jp1,jp2jp3,jp4 are location for user adjustment pods
So far everything is working well any issues have been been with wrong setting on the scaler not with this Scanline Generator
So no pot to change the strength of the scanlines in this version ?
yeah there will be that’s the next step I just got him to send me a early version to test
He still has to figure out which ones he wants to go with
I also think he may go a little further and add RGB adjustment as well
It’s really cool to see this project coming along so quickly. Mucho thanks to Toodles for being a GD genius, and RosserRooster for being a relentless tester!
You can see spots for sets of 2x3 headers; the original idea was was for scanline density adjustment and RGB adjustment both possible via a snap on top daughterboard, while keeping the base scanline generator functional on the button with the minimum of parts so itd remain cheap.
I just ordered an Evo monitor that I intend to do my testing on. Ill test some potentiometer values for the adjustments, play with it on the RGB->VGA, and see what I can make this thing do.
