Stopped watching after the first video where all you did was 360 anytime you WERENT in blockstun. Everytime on wake up too. AND everytime you jumped you dived.

Are there any vids showing t.hawks command throw setups?

I think he was being sarcastic. At least, I hope so.

no, robotecks really is that terrible.

He’s right. That guy was REALLY shit.

robotecks, no offense but you do have much to go concerning t.hawk and ssf4 in general. just keep on practicing.

main advice from everyone is not to mash your specials and hope for a lucky grab/reversal. over time, you’ll learn more of the mechanics and can execute better knowing what to perform and when. just practice…

year robotechs - you need to chill out with thawk. space yourself and dont do impulse jump spam spd or wake up spd EVERY SINGLE TIME.

learn the standing spd motion so you dont need to spam spd as reversals all the time…

f,d,b,ub,f,p thats the easiest motion, and it works for both sides of the screen so you only have to learn it once.

Robo Techs Yeah not the highest level hawk play but we all have to start somewhere.

On wake up try things other than SPD. If you think they are going to be just standing next to you feel free to go for it but unless they are brain dead or just thinking theres no way he would go for wake up spd 6 times in a row they are going to punish. Try Mixing in a DP or a block or dash back.
Try and use your normals more. This is something i have been working on. THawks got great normals and you can knock alot of life off the opposition using them.
Keep working at it try and try and find some high level players to get in rooms against so you can see. Try an get your PP up to around 3K then search by higher than your self it seems like everyone who knows what there doing is between 3-4k PP online if they are playing rank no disrepect to people that dont play ranked. Or to peope who play ranked with chars they are trying to figure out so there points go way down. This happens to me when decide to play hakan in ranked.

Gridman why do you use EX MT when its a guaranteed hit? I think ive seen you do it in a couple of your vids.

Also why did you do HP MT after a focus crumple, its a combo so its even more advantageous to do the LP one.

Apart from that good play!

Yeah i know its not the highest level comp i have played but still very funny.

Theres times where I accidentally get EX 360 because I drum all 3 buttons really fast for reversals and the game counts it as me hitting two of them at the same time. Any examples though where you dont think thats the case? Im sure its happened a handful of times before but im just curious.

Hp 360 after crumple is (I think, not sure never tested, actually gonna do this after i post this) the most damage you can get off a crumple without meter (im positive cl.mp xx ex spire is more). Without meter, maybe cl.mp xx dp is more than hp 360 but im not sure like i said. Also, ive found myself using fp 360 more and more against people who are VERY afraid of 360 because the opportunities you get to land them get slimmer and slimmer and two fp 360s is like half life on so many chars. Two dashes after a fp 360 puts you the same distance you would be at the start of the fight.

Also - something else I posted a while ago that I thought was true that isnt: After fp 360, dash dash hp spire (or something like that) puts you in the same situation as Gief after he greenhands after an spd. This is false and if the player is smart, they will dp / reversal you on wake up. Unless you have them scared I would not do this. However, dash dash ex spire after fp 360 will catch ANYTHING they try to do besides a heavily invincible reversal (ie sagat ex TU, ken mp dp/ex dp.). It will catch back dashes, jump backs, neutral jumps, and if they block, you’re in their face aggain.

I like to bait a wake up with dash dash dash block after a HP 360. Might be 2 dashes…dunno, but I think I’ve had some Ken’s ready to smash their controllers with this strat.

Harmless self-promotion never hurt anybody.

can anyone help me cecipher this method of doing walking 720’s?

He’s using numeric inputs and it just looks like a math problem to me. gracias.

I believe the numbers represent the corresponding presses on the joystick/d-pad, like a clock.

Up = 12, right = 3, down = 6, left = 9
