Yeah, this fight was totally difficult. The word is that a df.lp should stuff most of limbs. I haven’t tested this and didn’t notice you using it. Maybe give it a try?
Yeah…he needed to be about a 1/2 step closer by the looks of it.
While this is true, Sim was throwing Yoga Fires THEN poking…can’t really do anything when he backs it up like that. Against that kind of Sim, I take my chances with CD’s (which he did) and try to force him to teleport then TB him when he comes out. I fly around like a really, REALLY big bumble bee. I don’t mind taking damage in that fight because a few combos/SPD’s and it’s over. Not saying I could have done any better, but it seemed like Craig hadn’t faught too many good Sims before. Is that true?
df.lp stuffing his limbs is so hard to time. it might be just me but the risk reward is in his favor heavily cause fp stuffs df.lp so well.

You know, I was a bit hesitant to believe df.lp stuff his limbs. When we gather more info, I’ll update the match-up thread.
It does actually work but… imo, it’s not worth it unless you know for a fact it’s coming. If you miss, you eat pretty big damage for a single hit and if you hit… well you did piddly damage and sim is still all the way across the screen.
Quick question about that Fei/Hawk match - the I-think-it’s-MK>U1… is that some sort of whiff kara, or is Hawk’s 720 range that long?
I don’t think it’s a kara since mk doesn’t move T. Hawk forward. Usually a move has to shift a bit for it to kara-cancel. Maybe some experiments with cr.sweep could result with a kara.
Yeah, it definitely doesn’t look like one. I guess I’m just surprised at Hawk’s reach.
You never played Zangief then?
Yeah, I figured out what’s tripping me up. Looks like their 720 range is the same, but Hawk is a bit deceptive because his stance is straight (where Zangief is leaning right in there). It looks like he’s further away than he really is.
