I want really say that sucks for Guy because how many times a T.Hawk player will execute this combo.
It can do it better with other ways.
Personally from this video i found interesting only the 2 first combos. And also they have other versions to start them or to continue them.
This guy had like a million more BP and PP than me and I still won. T.Hawk is totally amazing.
Could someone tell me about LP Typhoon mixups? I keep hearing about them but I canât seem to do any.
Nice job on the win, but that Bison player was pretty awful (speaking as a Bison-only player from Vanilla).
Theyâre not worth it very often in my opinion, since the scrub-friendly crap dumbed down Street Fighter IV engine makes it so that on wakeup the opponent has less thinking to do than just about every other SF game ever. But J. Down+Fierce (hits)>Combo or st. Mk into throw, you can crossup or hit front-side. You can also go for j. jab > hawk dive, and they have to block the jab forward, and the dive as a crossup if you aim it right.
There is more but I donât bother, the fierce Typhoon does SO MUCH damage, I usually do it and just dash twice to try for another tick, or dash once and then start poking, I find that far superior that jab typhoon âmixupsâ which usually arenât even really mixups in the traditional sense since the idiotic SFIV engine holds everyoneâs hand. (Can you see how I feel about SFIV series yet? )
You really have to stop doing meaty spires.
I saw gridman fighting while I was browsing the streams last night. Hopefully he can post some of his fights or something I didnât recognize who I was watching until he was done playing.
As an awful Bison player myself that guy freaking sucks.
The whole point with LP typhoon mixups is that it puts you in perfect position to crossup the opponent via either a jump crossup or a LP/HP Spire over their downed body. Itâs the same principle any grappler will use after an untechable knockdown. I will agree to a degree with Airthrow above that itâs useless in some matchups to use the LP spire for the sole purpose of mixup. Obviously LP spire has increased range for grabbing pokes during footsies, but in meaty situations againsts characters with easy escape options (i.e. anyone with a teleport), you probably are better off using the HP typhoon for the extra damage. The time theyâre still grounded should be sufficient for you to close the gap and stay in close before they get up anyways.

Me VS Floe
I only used hawk after Floe destroyed my gief. I got 9th overall out of 230 but i mainly played gief.
hey guys need some feedback on my pink t.hawk so far, im gonna keep posting some matches. Hereâs a couple. Sorry but the quality is not the best.

alpharudy,
you can ex-spire through guileâs U2 most of the time depending on how close you are. this goes for most projectiles, of course.

appreciate the feedback guys, just trying to get better. Thanks.
http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm10739509 Serious Japanese T.Hawk. 2 matches. One in the beginning vs. Juri and one exactly 12 minutes in vs. Ken.

Well at least I was told he was a serious Hawk. After actually watching the video it looks like either he needed some things to work on in that matchup or Juri is a hard match. Either way he definitely played smarter than a lot of the other Hawks Iâve seen.
soooo many missed spdâs
the quality is not good sigh i dont know what to use to record matches off my ps3

one of my earlier matches super nontechnical just land the spd was my play style at that point but im still trying to figure out some good strats for him against a good vega.
after you block his ultra try standing hard kick instead of sweep. Youâll get some damage better than none. And the one time you tried to TB his wall dive but I think you learned your lesson after he izuna dropped you heh. Other than that, good match, showed a lot of patience.
that one you tend to miss free damage alot like when guy lands right infront of you easy spd or if your not to confident with comboâs the ol c.lpx3 c.mp seems to do good the c.mk is like Ryu/ken good poke if you need it just have to get used to the jab button seems to be best option short of that video that has the s.mk xx U1 .
but looks like a good start just read up on the stuff written about comboâs pokes and such on here and after u read them give them a whirl in endless see if it helps?
Shameful self-promotion video of my T. Hawk HlFPGLODxsA"]**HERE[/B
That is a combo video I made up two week ago as an entry for a contest. Itâll most likely be updated soon.
It pains me a little every time I see cl.MP xx EX DP. Put that EX spire in there, man!
Part of the reason why I"m updating the video soon, but I have strange trouble not executing EX Condor Spire from the 1P side consistently yet. Weird , I know
BlackLopez (Dud) vs TheArtofMovement (T.Hawk)
mass-A-cre (Ryu) vs TheArtofMovement (T.Hawk)
zigzagbau (Aku) vs TheArtofMovement (T.Hawk)
Nightmare423 (Guy) vs TheArtofMovement (T.Hawk)
Were you trying NOT to bunish the MGBâs in the Dudley Match? Anyone who does that against Hawk when it can be blocked is ASKING for a face plant.
