anybody has any tips on how to beat blanka? i have been playing hawk ever since SSF4 came out and blanka is the only one that i cant beat.
i was tryng on trining mode and always came out that other medium puch, must be a dificult combo
close mp and far mp are their names. Close would should tell you what is necessary to do the combo.
You have to be really patient and play perfectly and chances are, you’ll still lose.
damn, rufus is such a retarded character. the main thing i learned in that vid is that they hardly reduced the damage of ex.snake strike at all. it’s still ridiculous.
It’s not that bad of a fight if you know how to fight it. Rush when he has no meter because he won’t have an escape. If he tries keeping you out use either s.hk or spires to beat it. The only time you should be having troubles is if he has you in the corner. OS crouch tech with c.hp or c.mp or just ex dp your way out.
you can beat rufus cr.hp with your cr.mp too. its a safer way to tell them to cut that shit out.
cr.mp is too awesome in footsies. its like the ultimate counter poke from my experience with it.

hawk priority and hitbox are sad
pretty sure makoto’s st.mp beats everything hawk can do in chocolate. momochi punishing the whiffed sweeps and st.rh with cr.mp into hayate is just nasty though.
anyone else think makoto got too buffed in ae? her damage output is crazy even on hawk.
You can just stick out c.mp and os a hayate and if the opponent sticks out a poke, chances are you’ll beat it and get some free damage. Plus, Hawk’s sweep is hella slow and unsafe to be whiffing IMO.
@scratch: Her damage output is already like that in Super. She got other buffs that made her better.
I’ve been using that set-up at the 2:00 mark a bit recently. It works pretty well.
His Makoto needs a lot of work compared to Combofiend’s or Justin’s. Holy cow.
