So much fun I don’t even know where to start. I’m so glad Damdai insisted that I come, I almost didn’t, but now very glad I did. I was very inspired by everyone’s high level of play, and definitely want to come out of retirement and start playing again. Super big thanks to EAMegaman and JohnnyV for hosting the best casuals room in all of Vegas two years in a row now. Seeing Moocus nail those sick THawk combos every time was amazing to watch, and of course Damdai’s spectacular performance was great to see. Big thanks to everyone I played, talked to.
Oh and I have to mention this funny story. I wore my “Zass for 8th” T-shirt that a girlfriend of mine made last year, because I had told her that I had taken 9th place two evos in a row, and wanted to break the cursed streak of coming in 9th. And what did I get this year??? 9th! AGAIN! Too funny 
Hey guys. Excellent tournament! I was expecting to do better than 2-2, but losing to legends like Cole and Kuni isn’t something to get mad about. Shout outs to Tokido for reminding what I should have done to Cole. Cheap 'em out ftw. See you guys at the next big ST tourney(hopefully)! I was Bolo Yeung btw.
Good stuff Fudd, Kuroppi, Gaiden, Vintage, and everyone else who helped make this tournament happen! It was an awesome show of talent from all over, and I’m glad you guys are putting in the work to keep ST alive and kicking in the States.

I’m mad jelly that I missed it. I was too last min about the planning. Glad everyone had a blast though. I guess I’m going to have to make up for it at SCR.
Best tournament at evo hands down. I love the SF2 community. Extra shoutouts to SweetJohnnyV and EA Megaman for being godlike. Too bad ST won’t return as a official evo game. It was hands down awesome to watch.

Thanks for putting up those up Damdai, Grog, and Fudd! Any chance we can up the ustream footage up the same way (http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/16340138). That way the whole tournament would be in one place.
The stream needs to be spliced up and players need to be identified and labeled. There is a lot of “dead air” between matches. I got an offer for some help on this but it might be a while before I can get that done as I’m pretty busy with other things right now but I’m also waiting to get a copy of the bracket to get started.

i think there are a lot of great matches in this tourney (like zass vs daigo) that you guys can commentate using your f-a website.
or maybe in sts format.
it would be cool if you can talk about your matches, what you’re trying to do and also analyse your lost vs daigo,etc
BTW kuro/grog, if cutting/editing the stream archive is too much work, maybe you can simply annotate the start time of those matches that are not recorded by fudd.

I don’t see zass vs. daigo on FADC…
If someone can upload the entire stream to youtube uncut, i can specify the start and end times for each match on FADC, which is a lot easier than cutting them up manually.

I’ll think about doing commentary. The problem is seb has all the ambition and energy. I only bring the knowledge and good looks. He’ll be done with what he’s doing in about a month though, so hopefully we can continue where we left off.
