I guess you didn’t understand me … When I set button and stick in the control options , It is working properly , main problem is when I exit the game , and then open the game again , It has been reset all settings
Oh, I read that too quickly sorry.
I thought with the latest fix that I could restore my drivers happily, and I didn’t notice any performance drops. Howver I tried recording video today, where there normally isn’t a performance issue, and was having those too-familiar dips in framerate very couple of seconds (it would jump to a very low fps then return to normal). What cured it the last time was downgrading my nvidia drivers and it cured it this time once again You can also see it happen in windowed mode. I don’t get it–is it a driver bug or an application bug?
Just stick with what works best, if you dont have to upgrade your drivers, then dont! Probably some optimization for some other newer game caused this one to lag. I use older drivers too and I am on ATI. Newer drivers are usually optimized for newer cards/games etc…
when release the v2012 for PC?
probably a week or so after consoles, but someone made a mod to train with now on PC, see the AE forum threads
I need help I just got the PC versions of SSF4 AE and of coruse I was trying to use costume mods but everything got messed with the characters file I deleted the wrong thing. How can I return this to normal because I can’t pick Juri ( the character I was trying to get a costume for)
Reinstall?
Since 2 days I always get disconnected from GFWL SSF4 AE (basically every 10 minutes and I have to login again).Usually after I got disconnected about 8 times it stops. But when I start SSF4 from new it happens again.I am not sure why,but if anyone knows a solution, please let me know.Thanks.
Odd, maybe firewall or new security programs? I would try to update or reinstall latest version of GFWL downloaded from microsofts site:
here
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/LIVE/PC/DownloadClient
visit the custom skin thread or wiki online, here is the link:
http://aemods.pbworks.com/w/page/44060266/Originals
you can download the default skins again and copy to folder.
No new security programs. This issue just appeared from nowhere.
I will try that. Thanks for the link.
Sure, thanks for the cool vids and helping to grow the PC Community. :china:
Anyone else having major alt tab problems? I bought the game on the Steam 50% off sale, and whenever I’m in the middle of the trials and I alt tab out and back in, the game instantly crashes. Any workarounds for this?
I have never tried ALT+TAB to get out/in the game, but I have used the “Windows” key regularly to do the same thing and its always worked flawlessly.
Do you have any app that locks onto the game window, e.g. FRAPS?
No, I don’t. Windows Aero Flip works like a charm, though.
So, I bought SSF4 AE and am using a PS2 stick with a USB adaptor. My computer is detecting it as a PS3 controller but I am unable to callibrate it when I choose the option to. SSF4 detects it in controls but I can’t set any buttons since no buttons or joystick movement is detected. Any help would be appreciated on this problem… dying to play. Thanks.
I had a similar issue until I downloaded this 360 controller emu(I also play with a PS2 controller via USB adapter) and place the files in the main install directory.
Also as a side note see my sig if you would like the buttons to show as PS button icons instead of Xbox 360 buttons.
Here’s a short video that illustrates that there is a 1-frame software keyboard input delay:

From the video description:
"Two examples that illustrate keyboard input delay in SSF4AE. Simultaneous input is sent from a controller and a keyboard, but input from the latter is delayed by 1 frame.
In the first example, every attack button on the controller sends a “select/back” keyboard input. Because of the delay, the result is an auto-plink that doubles every input.
In the second example, a button on the controller is converted into a kara throw button; “MK” from the controller is grouped with “LP+LK” from the keyboard. The 1-frame delay causes such a combination to become a kara throw."
Any controller emulating a keyboard will also have this problem.
