I’ve been trying to get into some Skrull and I’m currently trying out Skrull, Doom and MODOK . I feel they could have pretty good synergy but I’m having trouble fitting them together on a team. I’m working with Skrull (Grudge)/Doom (Missiles)/MODOK (Beam) right now, what do you guys think?
I just started playing with Skrull and I am having issues with his simple bnbs, I can’t figure out how to otg off of j. down + H. It only hits once. Is there a special distance I need to use this move at?
I don’t understand your question. Are you asking how to combo extend with :d:+:h: or how to use it as an otg?
Extend the combo with j. Down + H. The combo I did was LMHS j.MMHS dash j. Down + H and the final hit only hits once so it doesn’t pick up. I’ve seen people do this combo and they are able to extend past j. Down + H.
It’s not incredibly egregious, but you’re not doing the combo right. The combo you’ve seen is s.:l: > s. > c. > c.:h: > s.:s:, j. > j. > j.:h: > j.:s:, dash, j. :d:+:h:
How do I know this? The the second hit of Brutal Pile Bunker is actually a ground bounce. Since in UMvC3 the player is only allowed one ground bounce and wall bounce per combo, the second hit of the move won’t connect because you have already tarnished your ground bounce with your s.:h: earlier on in the combo.
I wish someone told me this earlier too. I should make a thread of “Things I Wish I Knew”.

St. H, Air Down+H, Stone Dunk, Tenderizer, and meteor smash are ground bounces. Fatal Buster and Stone Smite use Wallbounces.
Does Elastic Slams count as a grab or a hit?

quick story: earlier today, i was getting bodied by this guy playing Wolvie/Wesker/Doom. getting hit by stupid random dive kicks, getting crossed up and hit with plasma beam, etc. etc… my team was Dorm/Wesker/Doom. after losing like, 8 straight, i decided to switch back to skrull (my main in vanilla along with Dorm) and rocked my vanilla team of Skrull/Dorm/Doom. I lost my first game coz i was rusty with Skrull but after that, i started beating him. lol. fun times
ANYWAY, my question is… Is anyone still able to do double inferno’s without burning x-factor? in vanilla, i would do generic-air-combo then end it with charged d.H -> TK Inferno -> Inferno. Now, they always seem to flip out right after the first inferno finishes
Well yeah, it’s still possible to get 2 without XF. Hell you can even get 3 of them if you know the timing. Using XF can get to up to 5 infernos.

I can describe it, but from personal experience, I learn much more from a visual representation rather than something written down.

When does the super armor become active/inactive in each versions of Orbital Grudge? Is there super armor in the assist version of Orbital Grudge?
Hello fellow skrulls I currently have a problem with players that like to jump alot. It seems like skrull has very few AA options the only thing I can do really to counter jumps is his H. ES but they either change the timing of there jumps or start SJ. I know st.H is a great anti air but it seems I always miss them completely when I try to hit them unless I charge it abit but often times it ends up in me eating a combo. What are some ways to deal with people who like to jump alot?
Air grab is your best friend for anyone who jumps in a lot. Especially if its predictable. This is also a universal tactic so keep that in mind.

Hey guys! Im trying to tweak my team a bit and im trying to put skrull at anchor. I think he can be ok at anchor Because of how much DMG he can get Unassisted.
My team Currently Is Wolvy Akuma Dorm Now im thinking of WOlvy Skrull Akuma Or wolvy Skuma Skrull. But the question is Does skrull make a Decent anchor. I love this Dudes combos BTW
